@ossobuco,
She's sincere most of the time. Noted. Thanks for that, osso.
Maybe that will give some needed clarity or context
for anyone puzzled by the endless posturing about Bernie and bottomless bile about Hillary. At least they'll know she's sincere.

@Olivier5,

As it turns out, the term "neoliberal" is quite dated. The novelty that the prefix refers to is that of Reganomics.

The old "trickle-down" instigator. He and Thatcher, in embracing Milton Friedman's economic plan (that has failed to the detriment of most Americans), might have been the first to earn the handle, but most certainly aren't the last.

Interesting demonstration of the financial outcome here by indy senator Sanders.

@snood,
I get you are being sardonic.
I'm the one who has met her, along with others, like dys and diane (not shleps), and roger.
I'm not a societal dummy and I'm not a fool. Sometimes, but those are testing periods.

Well, I'm "curious" who is not sincere and a fool?

I know, it is us ugly incremental neoliberal hillarybots who are to blame for all the worlds misfortunes.

An awful lot of people are slinging names and judgements around, I am wondering if there is going to be anyone who can talk to anyone when this is all over.

@ehBeth,
Ah, well. I may be forced to give up.

Not that I agreed, ever, but for the process of listening.

This is unrelated re me and Hillary, and even I don't know the denouement.

I think most of us rather admire, if not always agree, with revelette. I usnally at least somewhat agree,

Meantime, I just got quite a warning.

I guess I was a sap.

@roger,
Maybe I had stars in my eyes eight years ago, but honestly, I don't remember it being this bad. It is getting to the point there is hardly any meeting ground. Perhaps after New York and California it will ease up.

In the meantime, what is happening in the republican party besides Trump? Just trying to make conversation. In fact, I haven't heard any political news today. Guess people are out enjoying the weather. Took my grandkids to see Jungle Book yesterday, 3D's make you feel old.

Looks like the Don's work is filtering into this forum; divisive commentary, and reactionaries rule.

Fitting video for the meek.

@ossobuco,
As Americans, one of our most precious rights is to vote. We also have the right to vote for whoever we want. My concern in the upcoming election is that people will be trying to settle a score (that may only be known by them) and will vote for the least suitable candidate. I wish the Democrats fielded more candidates, I wish the Republicans fielded less. But they didn't, and now we are dealing with 5 people, and who really knows who will be actually be capable of functioning well in that office.

I'm not really enthused about any of them, but thems the choices. I just hope we don't go completely off the rails and elect a carnival barker like Trump. But, if that's what the rest of the voters want, I suppose I've been mistaken about the American people. We will be the laughing stock of the world. Some of you don't care how other countries view us, but when we elect a fool for a president it just trumpets we are morons and are exploitable in so many ways. I don't think any nation in the world wants their chief executive to be the joke. Maybe we will be the first in the 21st century.
