@ehBeth,
Sorry if that wasn't clear in my last post ehbeth. My answer to the questions I've seen, is simply that I am not here to dissect sin. It's none of my business. Whether you choose to call it sin... Or not (and then base your argument on that fact) is not my concern either.

@onevoice,
Onevoice, I felt like this question was answered already by others, so I fear I'm going to just be repeating them, but here's my take.

1) there isn't a singular rich lifestyle anymore than there is a singular gay lifestyle and to suggest that there is only insults both groups

1a) to a millionaire who earned their money through hard work (and maybe a little luck), being told that rich people are all Paris Hilton types is quite insulting to them (I know some of these people, and they are much better savers than they are spenders)

1b) to a gay person, being told that all gay people are [insert stereotypical gay trait here] is quite insulting to them

2) the word 'lifestyle' doesn't mean anything different to the two different groups. It's equally inaccurate and insulting to both of them.

@onevoice,
So you chose not to answer the questions.

Noted.

@maporsche,
I believe it is better coined as "politically correct." Unfortunately, the term means little to me. The problem here is Y'a'll are attempting to read faaaaar too much into what I am saying, how I am saying it, who I am saying it to, why I want to know, and how can it further your cause. Yet, I am actually speaking very plainly here. Maporshe, I asked for "your take" because that is what I wanted.

@ehBeth,
I did. You apparently did not like the answer and are not counting it as such. Which is also fine.

@onevoice,
Nobody is reading anything into what you're saying. You don't seem to understand the full implications of what you're saying. Maybe you should take a bit of time before rattling off a response.

I do not question that you are seriously and honestly looking for reasons that you can justify treating, a group who private sexual behaviors you do not agree with, as second class citizens.

Such a low class of citizens that even a baker can turn their business away if they share your emotions and religion faith.

My question is, when are you guys going to move on from this topic? So onevoice has views you guys object to, noted and accepted.

Can we now return to Trump who is getting closer and closer to being the republican voter choice for an election? If Trump reaches the delegate count, what can the higher ups in the GOP do about it at the republican convention? If he doesn't reach the delegate threshold, what happens then?

Where are your answers? I've been looking for specific responses and haven't found anything other than you can't answer.

Are you referring to the question I have about the DNA evidence? If you were I am sorry ehbeth. I'm not ignoring you on this. I didn't realize you had asked a question though? I'm still going through the material and have made no conclusions regarding anything. However, if/when I do I would be more than happy to share it if you are interested in discussing it. Smile

@revelette2,
I apologize for the interruption revelette! Perhaps a new thread is in order if people wish to continue discussing it. Please carry on talking about so called "God's Trumpet" as the religous leaders would call it. Lol I shall move on now. Smile

@onevoice,
Typical, no longer content with making us all fixate on gay men's trumpets you now want us to think about God's.

Do they talk about this sort of thing a lot in church?

@izzythepush,
Some people get brain-washed in church, and become slaves to it. It impacts their lives 24/7.

I could ask you what you meant by that but I'm not interested enough in your opinion to do so.

Very interesting how one poster has totally derailed this thread.

gawd I wish this election were over already. Never loved this season but now I hate it with every fiber of my body. Proof positive how badly the American political voting system is broken. It may one day be restored but not any time soon.

No matter what one candidate (Trump) says or who he offends or how outrageous, people still will hold their noses and vote for him - that's how badly they hate the others. Many Trump voters probably don't really think that he'd be a good Prez. They must think the others suck worse.

Let's quickly fast fwd to the Repug convention and see how they broker their candidate that leads their party.

One of the biggest problems with discussing politics on a2k is that these goofy digressions eventually happen on too many political posts. All of the recent Trump and Clinton 2016 threads have devolved into irrelevant side conversations.

That's literally my point in creating the silly thread:
Here's another Trump thread...

@Ragman,
I know what you mean, the first thing I saw on my homepage was Trump showing a bad picture of Cruz's wife. Next thing picked me up a little, the Obama's danced the tango in Argentina, Obama looked a little stiff, but Michelle, as usual she did great and looked great and graceful. Miss them already.
