Missed this one somehow. A lifestyle is just that... A lifestyle. There's a ton of different "lifestyles" out there in this world. When I say it, it is a classification... ?

there are as many lifestyles as there are humans

some gay people have sex with the same sex
some gay people are celibate
some gay people have pets
some gay people have jobs
some gay people have siblings
some gay people don't like to cook
some gay people are married to people of the same gender
some gay people are married to people of another gender

@onevoice,
You don't answer the questions I asked...here they are:

And if "being gay" is ok with christians but the choice of having gay sex is a sin then I wonder if the line is drawn earlier than that.

According to the bible or christian leaders, is it ok to:

Hold hands with another man
Kiss another man
Make out with another man
Grab another man's butt through his jeans
Grab another man's penis through his jeans
Give another man a hand job
Give another man oral sex
Put a finger up another man's butt
Have anal sex with another man

Which of the above is ok for heterosexual men versus homosexual men?

@onevoice,
One difference between a gay person's lifestyle and a rich man's lifestyle is that Jesus said absolutely nothing about the former and condemned the latter. You rightwing churchy types do the opposite. Actually you don't, far from staying neutral about the excesses of the rich you actively suck up to them.

I can really only speak for myself here because everyone draws their own lines in life. So... I honestly don't know. You really need to direct that question at who ever said that to you because that's one loaded gun I'm not touching the trigger on. Lol

Maporshe religion will never point you to the truth. It will always set impossible standards, while somehow believing it is above those standards. It will always set double standards when people stand against it. It will always attempt to scream louder than the others... because to stay alive it needs constant validation. It will never be productive for what ever cause it is swirling around in. Religion is a man's game. Not God's. Religous people (not the bible) set up all that crazy crap you just listed to fulfill their own desires.

@onevoice,
I wouldn't know who to ask onevoice. I'm an atheist tried and true. I know a few gay people but not well enough to get this personal.

You mentioned (I'm paraphrasing) that you love the person but not the sin. Or maybe rather that it's ok for a man to be homosexual as long as they don't choose to engage in homosexual acts (as defined by your chosen God).

I'm guess I'm curious where you'd specifically draw the line
You don't agree with their "lifestyle" but what does that mean. At what point does the homosexual lifestyle cross a line that you disagree with?

My sister is a christian, and she told me the same thing:
Quote:

Me: I don't worry about what people do in the privacy of their bedrooms (or elsewhere). It's none of my business.

I love all peoples. I may not like or respect some individuals because of who they are. I'm not perfect.

Poll: Utah would support Democrat if Trump becomes Republican presidential nominee
March 20, 2016

According to a new Deseret News/KSL poll, if Donald Trump becomes the GOP nominee, the voters of Utah would opt for a Democratic candidate for the first time in over 50 years. Poll respondents said they would support either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders over Trump, though Clinton was only two points ahead of Trump in the poll, falling within the poll's margin of error (as opposed to the 11 points Sanders has over Trump). As many as 16 percent of respondents said they would skip the election, altogether, if Trump was the nominee. Either John Kasich or Ted Cruz would defeat the Democratic candidate if they were nominated.

It's only one poll, but that didn't prevent it from shocking Chris Karpowitz, the co-director of Brigham Young University's Center for the Study of Elections and Democracy. Said Karpowitz to the News, "I know it is early and these things can change. But the fact that a Donald Trump matchup with either Clinton or Sanders is a competitive race is a canary in a coal mine for Republicans."

Sometimes I wonder if Trump is in this for his business enterprises? He gave a speech at an old post office he is turning into a hotel, he seemed almost annoyed with the political questions, it seems he really wanted to just talk about the hotel.

Political Substance Abuse: Donald Trump’s Washington Press Conference

It is way too long to leave, sorry if you can't access it, I must have a few viewings left this month. On the spot he basically offered a woman a job because she said she liked his policy he has for the military.

Quote:
QUESTION: [inaudible] I love the policy that you have for military.

MR. TRUMP: Thank you.

QUESTION: I would like to know if Trump Towers will be part of that veteran job—

MR. TRUMP: Are you talking about here? We— We are doing some of that actually already. We have been very much involved— Why? What are you looking for? What kind of a position? Come up here. Come here. Since you’re so smart and good. Do you mind if I do a job interview right now? We need good people. How are you? So what’s your experience in front of the world?

[Woman comes to the stage] Ah, well I design, I do wreaths, I do ah, all types of decorations.

MR. TRUMP: And you like this building?

WOMAN: Yes, I do.

MR. TRUMP: Okay. So here’s what I’m going to do. There’s the man. Stand right over here. If we can make a good deal on the salary, she’s gonna probably have a job, okay? All right. Good. Have a good time. Thank you, sweetie, thank you. Okay. Thank you. So nice. Really nice. Yes, go ahead. Sure.

Quote:
QUESTION: What we just witnessed here was pretty remarkable. I mean this is a complete stranger who just came up and you offered her a job. What—what inside your gut gave you the feeling that—

MR. TRUMP: I felt good about her. I tell you what. I looked at her, I said, she— You know, I have gut instinct, okay? And we’re allowed to have that. And I looked at her, and she asked a question, and it was a very positive question. She looks like she’s got a great look. And she’s—look at that, with the tears. How nice. She’s just a good—she just seemed like a good person to me. Just seemed like a good person to me. Now maybe she won’t qualify because you have to qualify for—but I think she will. I think she, to me, looked like a good person. I have instincts about people. For instance, I had an instinct about you originally that you’re a very fine reporter, and I was right. Okay? Now I— She made an immediate impression. And while I agree it’s a big audience, she’s gonna become a superstar. Tomorrow she’ll move out to Hollywood. Look at her. Don’t leave me. Okay, go ahead, yes.

@revelette2,
Do you remember when Miss South Carolina became the laughing stock for a confused, odd answer to a question asked during the Miss America pageant? She became the poster girl of foolishness, but Donald Trump wants to be president and he has an even more foolish disjointed answer to a puff question, and his supporters don't even blink? Why do we laugh at a beauty pageant contestant for a silly answer but give the man who wants to have his finger on the button a pass?
