Trump to Give Every Supporter at Rallies Aluminum "Freedom Bat"

We're pretty much where this could be a real headline and not the satire it is. Trump could convince his supporters up was down, left was right, and peace was war. Welcome to Dystopia U.S.A.

Trump to Give Every Supporter at Rallies Aluminum "Freedom Bat"

WASHINGTON (The Nil Admirari) - Earlier today, Republican presidential frontrunner and megalomaniac billionaire Donald Trump announced he planned to give every supporter at his rallies a complimentary "Freedom Bat." Trump promised the Chinese-made aluminum baseball bats would be gifted to supporters at all rallies to protect everyone's freedoms from protesters.

+

"Now let's get back to how all of your problems are the fault of the poor and brown people, and not super-rich predators like me robbing you blind every single day of your miserable hate-driven lives," explained Trump to a cheering crowd.

I know that Trump has had T. Hillfeger Inc. design smartly tailored tan button-down shirts for all his followers. The button-downs are little brass buttons that say"Join the struggle"

CINCINNATI (The Borowitz Report)—Republican front-runner Donald Trump was crying foul on Monday after Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders allegedly dispatched an army of vegan thugs to attack a rally of peace-loving Nazis in Cincinnati.

Pretty sad that something outrageous sounds reasonable when used about tRump, isn't it? You can't determine the possibility of it being a joke just by hearing it.

In Less Than 48 Hours, Bernie Sanders Has Brilliantly Deconstructed Donald Trump

By Jason Easley on Mon, Mar 14th, 2016 at 4:01 pm

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders is dismantling Donald Trump. With each passing moment, Sen. Sanders continues to build the national moral case for the popular rejection of the Republican frontrunner.

Video:

Transcript via MSNBC:

CHUCK TODD: Marco Rubio this morning said the following, ‘We are now a nation where people hate each other.’ It was sort of a stark– and obviously, he’s reacting to the Donald Trump rallies. How do you react to what we’ve been seeing?

BERNIE SANDERS: I don’t agree with that all. I understand where Senator Rubio is coming from. What he is disturbed about and what I am disturbed about is we have a major candidate for president of the United States, Donald Trump, who is literally inciting violence among his supporters. When he says that he is prepared to pay the legal fees of somebody who sucker punches somebody, what he is really essentially saying is, ‘Go, go, go, do it, supporters. Go beat up people.’

CHUCK TODD: It’s a permission slip?

BERNIE SANDERS: Absolutely. It’s more than a permission slip. It’s an enticement. It’s saying, ‘You can beat up people. That’s what this campaign is about, and don’t worry about it. I’ll pay the legal fees. It’s a good thing to do.’ That is outrageous.

Listen to Sarah Jones and Jason Easley discuss how Trump may win the primary, but lose the war to Democrats:

Sanders has been steadily building the moral case against Donald Trump over the last 48 hours. During an appearance on ABC’s This Week, Sen. Sanders called out the many lies of Donald Trump while emphasizing that the Republican candidate is trying to use bigotry and racism to get to the White House. At the CNN Democratic town hall on Sunday evening, Sanders expanded his argument by accusing Trump of intentionally inciting violence.

At the MSNBC town hall, Sen. Sanders (I-VT) put another piece of the puzzle together by showing how Trump in enticing his supporters to commit acts of violence. While Donald Trump roams the country repeating his sales pitch, Bernie Sanders is rallying millions of Americans of all political stripes against Trump.

Bernie Sanders is uniquely positioned among the 2016 field of candidates to take out Trump, but one gets the sense that Senator from Vermont is not being motivated by politics. Sen. Sanders is speaking out and shining the light of truth on Donald Trump because it is the right thing to do.

Donald Trump has revealed himself to be a danger to the country that Bernie Sanders loves, so Sanders is doing what Republicans won’t. He is using his integrity and moral authority to stand up against the hateful tactics of the man that Republican voters are on the verge of making their presidential nominee.

Yet another example of the Trump campaign's crackdown on the media.
Journalist ejected from Trump rally for, well, being a journalist.

Mayo: My choice at Trump rally - Leave or go to jail

Like thousands of others, I attended the Donald Trump rally in West Boca on Sunday night. Like many others, I procured a general admission ticket after registering online. Like many others, I used my smartphone to take photos, videos and post on social media during the event, held at a county park.

Unlike nearly all the others, I was confronted with a stark choice by a Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputy at 8:40 p.m., while Trump was still speaking: Leaving immediately or "going to jail."

I left.

"Tell him we're trespassing him," a Trump campaign official told the deputy.

The campaign official told me his name was Justin. He would not give me his full name or tell me his position, even though I identified myself and gave him my business card.

"Just Justin," he told me a minute earlier, when he approached me and objected to me taking video of people leaving the rally early, while Trump was still on stage.

SEATTLE (TheBlaze/AP) — Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders was shoved aside by several Black Lives Matter activists and eventually left a Saturday afternoon event in Seattle without giving his speech.

Sanders was just starting to address several thousand people gathered shoulder to shoulder at Westlake Park when two women took over the microphone.

“If you do not listen to her, your event will be shut down right now!” one woman yelled at Sanders before he stepped back.

Organizers couldn’t persuade the two to wait and agreed to give them a few minutes — after getting quite the earful.

“Let her speak or we shut it down!” one activist yelled.

“Stop asking questions and let her speak now!” she hollered

The women spoke about Ferguson and the killing of Michael Brown and held a four minute moment of silence.

When the crowd asked the activists to allow Sanders to speak, one activist called the crowd “white supremacist liberals,” according to event participants.

After waiting about 20 minutes, Sanders himself was pushed away when he tried to take the microphone back.

It's the message, not the money, that's working

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/editorials/ct-campaign-spending-sanders-koch-trump-edit-0315-md-20160314-story.html

Quote:

Trump has proved so adept at commanding voter interest and media coverage that campaign ads are almost beside the point. He's not the only candidate proving that the right message is worth a lot more than a big war chest.

There is also a guy named Sanders, who has mounted a stiff challenge to Hillary Clinton despite a mismatch of resources — drawing big, enthusiastic crowds and winning nine states so far. He's in second place not due not to inadequate funds — he spent $6.1 million in the Super Tuesday states, compared with her $7.8 million — but to his inability to appeal to African-American and other Democratic constituencies.

This spectacle is frustrating to those who have laid out huge sums in hopes of advancing their causes. The billionaire Koch brothers budgeted hundreds of millions of dollars for this year's elections, but Charles Koch laments that the Republican presidential candidates have mostly ignored the issues he cares most about. "You'd think we could have more influence," he lamented to the Financial Times.
