Skinhead does not equal racist. If you want to talk about racists call them that. The skinhead movement is a fusion of British and Jamaican culture, when West Indian immigrants started socialising with white working class men in the 50s/60s. True skinheads embrace black/white harmony. I'm not saying that some racists haven't adopted skinhead dress, but there are plenty of genuine skinheads out there who are far from racist. Don't insult a movement that bridges the racial divide by using skinhead as shorthand for racist, it's not.

How many times do I have to point out you are willing to only blame ONE cop but you blame ALL those in BLM? Blue uniforms vs black skin.

They do not drop out or made any public statement of disagreement with BLM main leaderships so frying pigs IE cops in their marching tunes seems ok to them.

They are the same as the KKK and other hate organization only the color of their skins are not the same.

Next being a cop is a job/career and not a protect/social movement so comparing BLM to the police is strange indeed.

The guy is in gaol, and Drumpf's team says they don't have anything to do with the case.

I know in Australia they spell it gaol for jail.

I haven't heard a single example of bigotry by Trump. Because he wants immigration laws enforced? Because he claims that some illegal aliens are good people but some are criminals? Because he claims that a disproportionate fraction of the terrorist incidents in America were carried out by Muslims? None of those indicate prejudice.

If I were talking to most other people here, I would expect them to give me the example of racism or bigotry I have asked for. Having some experience with talking to you, I presume you will simply say something personal about me which has no relevance to supporting your assertion.

Was Ska a spinoff from this movement?

I remember an early seventies tv show called Love thy Neighbour about the Jamaican arrivals in Britain.

I didn't like Love Thy Neighbour, it didn't expose the bigot nearly well enough. Eddie Booth wasn't at all likeable, but a lot of idiots related to him. I think it later moved to Australia and was just as bad there.

Rising Damp was much better. Rigsby was not an out and out bigot like Booth, but he had some very backward concepts which were ridiculed. Phillip, the well spoken black tenant, always came out on top in any encounter, but it never got really nasty. At the end they were almost friends. It's still good, and as relevant today.

We're way off topic, but it's a trumpet thread..... there was a show about grifters from the UK that I used to watch. Can't for the life of me remember what the show was called, but the team set up some of the best stings imaginable.

Agree about Booth being such a prick, but the script managed to show him up to be the galah.

So happy about Trump's precipitous decline in popularity. Hope is translates to votes.

I'm confused ... how does one "admit" to "allegedly" doing something?

As in Ferguson a lot of places with the population unhappy with the police department the police are under the control of the courts and the local politicians and not only need the politicians must stand for re-elections but the judges in many cases also.

Seems simple when you have a population that is overwhelming blacks to vote in both judges and politicians that would give them the policing they are more happy with.

Whole police departments in the south florida area had been done away with and the job of local policing given to the county when the local voters are unhappy with the local police department.

Why the need to riot unless only a small fraction of the population is unhappy with the police department.

Seem more likely that only the criminal elements are unhappy in such areas.

Did a fast check and it would seems while there is enough blacks to burn down parts of Ferguson from time to time getting them out to vote with special note of off year elections is harder with the turn out rate being one third for blacks then whites in off year electrons.

Amazing that you have a population unhappy enough to riots and yet will not register to vote and then go to the polls in anywhere near the numbers of whites.
