Do not made me laugh as the only time that a US mainland city came under bombing attack and by US hardware at that is not something any US citizen would forget or get wrong after hearing of it.

But to proved it to you........

Attack by air[edit]
Numerous witness accounts[who?] described airplanes carrying white assailants, who fired rifles and dropped firebombs on buildings, homes, and fleeing families. The planes, six biplane two-seater trainers left over from World War I, were dispatched from the nearby Curtiss-Southwest Field outside Tulsa.[21] Law enforcement officials later stated that the planes were to provide reconnaissance and protect against a "Negro uprising".[21] Eyewitness accounts and testimony from the survivors maintained that on the morning of June 1, the planes dropped incendiary bombs and fired rifles at black residents on the ground.[21]

The National Enquirer Endorses Trump! No, really - they made an announcement and a special edition of their paper (magazine? rag?), and everything.

@BillRM,
I wasn't trying to make you laugh, just pointing out a fact. Your memory is not a reliable source. It's prone to hysteria, rose tinted nostalgia, prejudice and downright delusional fantasy. Wacky Races is more grounded in reality.

Sorry but when I make a statement of fact concerning US history I am very seldom wrong and to a lesser degree that apply to world history also.

@cicerone imposter,
Let's start with Trump's wall between the US and Mexico. Price tag: $10 billion plus dollars. I guess Trump's going to pay for it himself. Ban all Muslims from entering the US. How does anyone know who a Muslim is? Check their DNA? Stupid idea. Beyond that, it's against our country's Constitution; the freedom of religion.

@Lilkanyon,
LOL I been doing so in post after posts, referring to the US founding fathers love and respect for the early Rome republic for example.

Pointing out how we seems to be on the same path as the late Rome Republic ending and for the same reasons.

Different times, different areas. Today's world doesn't have any resemblance to the time of the Rome Republic. NONE.

@BillRM,
Ah yes! Comparisons of the US and Rome is something I agree with. Mercenaries, arrogance, bad leadership, disrespect for surrounding peoples...all contributes to the downfall of a nation.

@cicerone imposter,
Hmm...there I disagree...maybe a better study of Rome may help us understand how they fell, and keep us from making the same mistake. We are already on that road by using mercenaries to do our dirty work.

You got to be kidding me as we live is a very similar world as the Romans did and Rome had a very similar position in their world as the one main superpower as we are.

We are following Rome in leaving behind calling for all full citizens to serve in the Rome legions and going to a full time pay army/legions.

We are following Rome example of doing away with the middle class/ small land owners and concentrating wealth in an ever smaller percent of the population.

@BillRM,
Im not sure about the internal politics of Rome as much as the arrogance and lack of control they had. Sure their emporers were "Trumps" but the people themselves stop believing and they needed to hire outside forces to defend an empire they were not given access too. The tribes were recruited, but after service, Rome gave them a big middle finger and sent them to starve. I think its a major lesson. If Rome had only given them what they deserved, they would have faught for her. They loved Rome, the promises she had, and they turned their back. And people dont think we can learn from that?

The US has more defensive weapons than the top ten countries put together.
We're talking about the whole planet, not some area on the globe based on Roman history.
