Pelosi wants to stick around so she and the remaining Obama democrats
can do more damage to the job market and rob the social security system.

The Democrats are merely righting the ship that GWB grounded on shallow waters like yours.

@H2O MAN,
This is very funny.

Actually, I bet Pelosi was indeed hot about 40 or so years ago, and she may even have been a MILF 20 years ago.

@talk72000,
Is that really the best you can come up with?

Somehow you think that by quipping that Rahm Emmanuel is actually H2O that you will generate yucks, and score points.

More likely you just wanted to make the "stick-up" crack and forced it onto a retort.

Are you 15?

You know, you don't have to try to counter each and every H2OMan post.

@Finn dAbuzz,
I think H2O is juvenile and rather shallow so I treat him as a junior. He is not too deep so I don't spend too much effort or time with him. He is just a water softener salesman/owner - a small shop. I am just playing with him.

Someone should have slipped her the real thing real good back then,
she may have turned out to be less of the cunning runt she is today.

Black Caucus Flexes Muscle In Dispute With Pelosi

Some caucus members have suggested that they might side with moderate Democrats in a vote to restrict Pelosi's power if she doesn't clearly define the proposed role she has created for Clyburn, the highest-ranking African-American lawmaker in Congress.

@JPB,
I think that was almost a given; for Pelosi to win. Party politics will always have disagreements, but she did accomplish much for the democrats. I never cared for her style or much of her politics.

After some reflection, it occurs to me there may be some advantage for the President in keeping Pelosi on as Minority Leader in the House. The Democrat caucus in the new Congress will be much more left wing & liberal than the existing one as a result of the natural focus of attrition on marginal districts with more competitive elections and therefore generally more moderate Democrats representing them. Obama will encounter resistence from both frustrated remaining left wing Democrats who may wish he was more strident and want him to simply double down on their original program, and from the now more confident Republicans on the right.

Pelosi can give confidence to the left wing core of the new House Democrat caucus, and, at the same time, make it relatively easier for the President to position himself as having "moderated" their extreme positions. I certainly don't know the president's strategy or intentions on the matter, but strongly suspect we may see him positioning himself somewhat to the right of Pelosi (not at all hard to do) in the months ahead.

@georgeob1,
Haha, he's been 'to the right' of Pelosi from day 1 of his term.
