@hawkeye10,
Same here; I've been an independent for the past 25 years or so.

@cicerone imposter,
Consider that NPR interviewed one woman after the scott brown election who voted for him because she felt MA needed something different. People like that would vote for blackboard and bimbo.

I have a feeling it's going to be Romney at the top of the ticket for the republicans in 2012. And if the job situation doesn't improve before then, he'll be tough to beat.

Even so, I still think he'll be the one on the ticket at the end. But that's just my guess.

@jcboy,
Do you ever do facts, evidence and argument? So far you look like a gangster who can only handle drive-by's.

I am ready when ever you are pal.

The best way to see what kind of retards attended the Beck rally is just to ask them a few questions.

I just got done watching this, and man - these people are nutjobs. Make sure you watch till at least the middle, because the answers really take the cake.

They one and all seem to believe that Obama has 'divided the country on the issue of race.' Because he's a black guy, ya think?

Do you ever do facts, evidence and argument? I try but I usually hit a wall pretty damn quick. Then I hightail it outta there, reorganize and try again. Ya at least gotta give me some credit for tryin'.

@Cycloptichorn,
didn't you find it a bit odd that in 13 minutes of "sampling" opinion this dude only talked to about 10 people? The same people over and over again. Very strange, and it calls into question the motivation of whomever made this. another thing is that we know that Tea Party People tend to be MORE educated than average, so using mostly people who communicate as if they dont have lot of formal education calls into question how representative this "sample" really is. I dont have a problem with the wisdom of those not formally educated, and think that alot of the time they are more wise than the formally educated, but misrepresenting who attended this event would completely discredit this production.

Here's a good CNN article on Mitt Romney: http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/11/13/romney.future/

Watching a2k's worst one subject fanatic attempt to take the high road of reason is very humorous. Or is it that you are delusional? I really don't know...

@cicerone imposter,
As I'm on 'ignore' might you not be missing out on some crucial facts, CI, you know, those things that help one reach logical conclusions?

"No matter" you say.

Okay, carry on.

Say, CI, weren't you the one who hightailed it into the warm, fuzzy, safe confines of Ignore?

No. Why is it odd?

He was interviewing people. Ten different people over 13 minutes is only about 1.3 minutes each; in order for them to discuss political views. That is a minimum amount of time necessary to accomplish the task.

PFFFFFFF I call bullshit, complete bullshit, on that. I don't care what supposed poll you cite. I have seen absolutely nothing that shows this is true.

Yes, I'm quite sure you don't. However, I do, because most of those who haven't formally been educated are not qualified to discuss in-depth issues of governance, and that's a fact of life.

You have no evidence that they misrepresented anything at all; you just don't like seeing your fellow morons on display for all to judge the truth of.

Chase Whiteside is the dude, and he has a website where he says

Quote:
Q:What influenced your decision on how to register to vote (Democrat, Independent, Republican, etc.)? What advice do you give to others who are just about to register?
— asked by Anonymous
-------------------------------------------------
A:Oh boy. Big question. I’m not someone in support of either party, necessarily (I’m to the left of the Democratic Party). I think that reading substantial amounts of quality journalism will lead anyone to vote to the left of our current system. Start reading the news and about the world. From quality sources: The New York Times, New Yorker, Harpers, Mother Jones, etc.

What's wrong with those answers/how does that change things at all?

It doesn't, not in the slightest. I agree with Edgar; I've yet to hear a single intelligent comment from a Tea Partier, an in-depth discussion of our situation as a nation which wasn't riddled with either bigotry or major logical errors.

Given that one of the main planks of the Tea Party is that the Elites have run America off of the rails I dont figure they care if you or anyone else promote yourself as superior in intelligence. Given that many in the TEa party feel already that their values and their opinions have been dismissed without consideration people such as you are actively promoting the Tea Party message, you are an example to all of the righteousness of their grievance.
