@Ticomaya,
I refrained from going into detail about how pretty they looked Tico.

Did you see the monster black guy with the $1000 hairstyle?

It was a dire game to watch.

@spendius,
Here's a catch from the Ashes Test Match at the WACA.

@spendius,
That dude must have gotten 6 inches of air on that catch. Neutral

Based upon my obviously little amount of observation, it seems safe to say cricket is a sport that relatively unathletic dudes can excel at.

@Ticomaya,
It's a game requiring a compromise Tico. A few actually. As things stand the Test Match players are the best we can find in all the circumstances and no sporting gentleman would ever dream of calling into question the abilities of anyone who is at the top level of a game even if it is tiddlywinks.

I was admiring the teeth and, by extension, American dentists.

I swear I glimpsed the lower half of a female breast when one of the cheerleaders shook her tinsels high above her perfectly formed head. Her top rode up as she reached.

Are cheerleader's selection committees body fascists?

@spendius,
I think they select them pretty carefully after a grueling set of tryouts. I was able to tour Cowboys Stadium a couple of weeks ago, and the cheerleaders' locker room is actually fancier than the players'. All the girls have lockers that are lined with makeup lights that would make Broadway proud, and not-quite life-size (probably about 3X4 feet) photos of the girls extend above each one's space. Average career for each girl is three years, they spend a lot of time on the road performing good-will or charity events, and they all hope to use their experiences on their resume so the job can be a career stepping stone. At least in Dallas, those girls really work hard at their job.

It could be an interesting week for those at the top of leader board.
Spendius disagrees with LiontamerX and Ragman on 3 games and with EhBeth on 6.
LiontamerX differs from Ragman on 3 and with EhBeth on 2.
Ragman and EhBeth think differently on 3 games.
Most of the divergence occurs in the early games tomorrow.

I still need picks from JPB and Panzade.

@realjohnboy,
What's the longest time a team's offense has been kept off the field.

My guess is the Redskins/Bears game on Dec 8 1940. The Brits were at war fighting the enemies of freedom at the time. I often wonder what would have happened had we not been and Hitler had got all the nukes.

AndyClubber was grousing today about the NFC West Division where one of these teams will advance to the playoffs despite having miserable records:
St Louis Rams (6-7)
Seattle Seahawks (6-7)
San Francisco 49ers (5-9)
Arizona Cardinals (5-9)

@realjohnboy,
But the games which cause this effect are of no account in the objectives of the four West Division teams and it would be foolish of the players to exert themselves strenuously in such games and risk injury which would incapacitate them for the games which are of importance to them.

That would be how I would look at it if I was a member of those squads.

Also-they might wish to avoid exposing their play plans un-necessarily.

One can hardly say that the winner of the NFC West Division has a "miserable record". Such a team might enter the Superbowl knockout stage with all its players fit and none of its play strategies exposed.
