BTW--a score near to 0.500 does not necessarily imply a feminine disposition. It might easily be the result of having no idea.

Maybe it's changed over the years but I recall a long established traditional T-day game used to be Dallas vs Detroit. Anyone else recall that combo?

No. The original Thanksgiving Day game was always in Detroit, even before the Dallas franchise was established. Later, the Dallas game was added to the Thursday schedule. To my knowledge, the Lions and Cowboys never played each other on Thanksgiving Day. If so, it couldn't have been more than once, and would have been coincidental. At least, that's what my fading memories tell me.

I don't remember football on thanksgiving, though I knew there were games.. but the tv was never on at the family gatherings. Too much jawboning going on..

Interesting. I followed football as a kid (I was born in '46). So I (now) remember the "traditional" Thanksgiving game as being between Detroit and Green Bay. Our family's roots were in Wisconsin.
