Excellent! Everyone is in a full 18 hours ahead of kickoff tomorrow. Now that I have yall trained, I need for each of you to send $20 to my PayPal account.
My red highlighter gets a bit of a break this week in the recording of picks. We are tending to largely agree on games. We are unanimous in taking New Orleans over Seattle and Tennessee vs Washington. Jespah alone has Carolina against Baltimore and only Mis Cowdoc thinks St Louis can take down Atlanta.
We were split 12-11 in favor of Chicago and we are equally divided in picking Cleveland over Jacksonville.
CoastalRat agrees with the majority on every game with a handful of others agreeing on all but one. Mis Cowdoc is out of step on 6 followed by Osso and Jespah at 5. Note that all 3 of them are girls.

Next week has a Thursday game; perhaps 2. It is Thanksgiving in the U.S. so a lot of folks will be traveling. I have already received picks from McGentrix.
I will post the Week #12 schedule later this evening.
Anyone flying is welcome to post their airport screening body scan pictures here.

It turns out that there are 3 games scheduled for Thanksgiving day, with the 1st one just after noon ET. As I recall, but I may be wrong, the traditional game used to be Chicago vs Detroit.
WEEK #12 Schedule:
Thursday, November 25th, noon (ET)-
New England @ Detroit
later-
New Orleans @ Dallas
Cincinnati @NY Jets
Sunday, November 28th, early-
Jacksonville @ NY Giants
Pittsburgh @ Buffalo
Minnesota @ Washington
Carolina @ Cleveland
Green Bay @ Atlanta
Tennessee @ Houston
Sunday, late-
Kansas City @ Seattle
Miami @ Oakland
Philadelphia @ Chicago
St Louis @ Denver
Tampa Bay @ Baltimore
Sunday night-
San Diego @ Indianapolis
Monday night-
San Francisco @ Arizona (+ final score)

Note that I need to get picks for the 1st 3 games by noonish on Thursday with the rest by 1 pm on Sunday (ET).

@ossobuco,
The Chicago 1000 Island Dressing caught my eye. I actually like beets.

@realjohnboy,
I haven't looked at them yet - was just amused by the idea. I suppose they'll have more next week.

@ossobuco,
I am making potato soup this evening, based on a recipe from my 1931 Joy of Cooking book.

@realjohnboy,
Grins... Now I know who I should have sent some of my oldie cookbooks to. I still like Joy of Cooking, think mine is a newish 1974.

I like potato soup. I'm making, ah, tuscan mishmash soup. That is, a mix of leftover onion-bacon-parsley soup with a can of diced italian style tomatoes with some leftover home cooked pinto beans and their natural sauce with some of my previously roasted cut up red potatoes and their basil/garlic/salt/pepper, plus water to dilute. We'll see.

We are off and running! 9 early games x 23 players = 207 picks. The majority agrees on 178 of those picks.

@realjohnboy,
Actually, rjb, I just got back from working cattle, and it was actually pretty comfortable. Fifteen degrees above when I left at 8:15, but getting close to thirty now. Not bad at all for November.

Oh, my. A 48 yd FG in OT gives the Redskins a win over the Titans. Only Osso and CoinToss predicted that. As a group, we got burnt by the Bills win over the Bengals. Osso, Region, Edgar, Rhys and CoinToss saw that coming.
Region has just one miscue so far, followed by EhBeth, Ragman and LiontamerX at 2.

Sweet. As a group we did quite well in the late games.
I have Region at 13-1 with Ehbeth at 12-2. A couple of players are at 11-3, but everyone in possible contention has Philly tonight and San Diego tomorrow night. Region will win the week.
