@realjohnboy,
It looks like a pretty good way of celebrating a recession to me.

@Ragman,
See my logic? This will not be an important game for Philly. Even Le Sean and De Sean are gonna be resting.

@farmerman,
Yeah..after close inspection, I'm 51% in favor of the 'Boys'. But all the 'wiseguys' are heavy on the Iggles. prob'ly 'cause Boys are the gang that can't shoot straight. Not sure Kitna will be behind center or not. They could be using a 3rd stringer, McGee. McGee has been quoted as being "excited".

"Cowboys quarterback Jon Kitna wasn't a participant at practice on Friday as he's still recovering from a strained left oblique muscle, but he did throw some passes in the early portions of practice "

@Ragman,
Thats entirely based upon Home Foield advantage. No matter what, itll be a non event with Iggles looking past this to the playoffs uninjured.

@farmerman,
... but forgive me as I'm a bit muddled here. The home-field advantage goes to the Philly as this match is in their 'yard'.

I am not nagging. There are still 24 hours before the games tomorrow. I am gently reminding Osso, JPB, Miz Cowdoc and Panzade that they have not yet picked.

Good morning. It is a balmy 50 degrees F here in Virginia. Overcast, with some rain last night. I saw a post from Dys earlier reporting that it is 1 degree in Alburquerque. -4 in Salmon, Idaho.
So this is the final week of this thing. I see that the NFL has switched around the kickoff times for some of the day games.
With everyone but JPB having picked, I see that we agree 84% of the time as a group. We are unanimous in taking Atlanta over Carolina. Miz Cowdoc is the only player selecting Tennessee against Indy; Region alone has Oakland vs Kansas City and Alex thinks Miami will beat New England.
Spendius, LiontamerX and Cowdoc agree with the majority on every game. A bunch of folks are out of step on just one game.
Region, on the other hand, thinks that 8 games will turn out differently than the majority of us believe.

@ossobuco,
It's almost 70 degrees here on west coast of FL. Nice (75+) lately mainly since Xmas day. However, it's feast or famine as last week we had a hard frost overnight, and we've had 7 frosts so far in Dec. Not exactly the seasonal norm and predictable.

Right now the trend is that it's been pretty warm even at night (50-ish) for 3 out of the last 4. the warm days will extend at least for another 4. I'm not weeping (for joy) in my beer - mainly because I'm out of beer.
