I didnt see the game, I'm gonna watch it tomorrow.
But I did listen to it on the radio and I think that the Saints let themselves get caught up in all the excitement leading up to the game, and the Vikings surprised them.

Wait till you watch it - it didn't look that way at all. Instead, NO decided to push the run game in the 2nd half... and it worked great.

Favre looked uncomfortable and kind of overly aware of himself. He'll be in trouble if he can't put a win together next week at home.
The sports pundits I have heard say that the soap opera thing he pulled: "Will he come back for a 20th season?" is not only tiresome but also hurts the team. Two weeks of practice before a game against a quality opponent doesn't cut it. He got away with it last season because MN started out playing some weak teams.

I'm so entirely annoyed by Favre that I may come around to liking him again, just kidding.
But re how the teams resolve ---- that's more interesting.
