Vindication for the wandering eye.

http://www.themedguru.com/20091206/newsfeature/stare-boobs-longer-life-study-86131320.html

Frankfurt, Germany, December 6 -- A rather bizarre study carried out by German researchers suggests that staring at women's breasts is good for men's health and increases their life expectancy.

According to Dr. Karen Weatherby, a gerontologist and author of the study, gawking at women’s breasts is a healthy practice, almost at par with an intense exercise regime, that prolongs the lifespan of a man by five years.

She added, "Just 10 minutes of staring at the charms of a well-endowed female, is roughly equivalent to a 30-minute aerobics work

I hope they are not suggesting that I spend 10 minutes looking at one set of headlights.

Much rather it would be 60 sets at 5 seconds a set.

@sozobe,

gawkee's health is not affected at all because the typical gawker is very, very good at gawking without letting gawkee know that they are being gawked at.

unless there is drooling involved, then all bets are off...

@dagmaraka,
Reminds me of a time where I saw a really gorgeous girl in the mall and I was staring. Not at her chest, but at her legs. They were perfect. Anyhow my wife was with me and I didn't realize she saw me looking. I walked blindly into a signboard. My wife knew it was there and decided not to warn me. The girl, however, was non the wiser to the event.

I think most women know when they are being looked at, most men don't do subtle well. I once read an article about how women having better peripheral vision than men and therefore we can get away with sneaky looks better than the boys. Now let's check out some tight asses, ladies.

@Intrepid,
Things like that do happen, I saw a traffic accident happen because a Beautiful Woman was walking. Luckily I was sitting in the cafe watching her instead of in my car.

@engineer,
Nah, stress has been found to have all kinds of bad effects.

And as all the women here have been saying, YES we know when it's happening. We don't do anything about it because our options are a) open up a topic of conversation that we have no interest in pursuing, b) get all up in someone's face, which gets tiring after a bit, or c) ignore it and let them think we have no idea.

There is the occasional d) of course, which is "the gawker is actually quite cute and the attention is welcomed," but I'd say that's vanishingly rare, partly because the act of gawking automatically takes off about 87 thousand cute points.
