@ossobuco,
I like Chai's Indian inspired piece. I've always wanted a nice Indian outfit.

@littlek,
how about the evenings there, in that garden? Is the wedding inside?

@littlek,
Anything from this collection will do fine:

And with this dress if you get peckish, you can just grab a yummy Lindt chocolate! Very Happy

@littlek,
I was starting to think indian, after I posted that it was too pj-ey. I might take that back.

@ossobuco,
The wedding is in a church after the heat of day passes.

@shewolfnm,
classic. I like the style. I do have a black dress I could swing. I'm just thinking black isn't good.....

So what about my tattoo? The reason for the elbow sleeve was to cover it. I'm not sure how much I'm worried about it.

Maybe you can help me with store names...? You'll see I may be a bit scattered as I've tried:
Macy's
Chadwick's
Ann Taylor (and the Loft)
Soft Surroundings
Territory Ahead
NY & Co
H&M
J Jill (way too drapey)
Gap
Banana Republic
J Crew
Victoria Secret
Talbot's
sierra trading post
sears

How about trying a local consignment store?

Especially since it may be something you won't wear again.

Years back at my brothers wedding, that's what I did.
It was a formal wedding, and as a member of the family I had to wear a floor length dress.
I got something for like a 1/3 of what it would have cost in the store, and I could tell it was probably only worn once.

@littlek,
What I remember of your tattoo (didn't we see a photo at some point?) is swell.

If that's a concern though..
Is this apt to be a fusty group?

What about your own black dress?

I still like the first one, now in the burgundy, if the tattoo is a question.

Off to look at the stores.. (I'd be surprised if I'd pick Talbots, but I know people like it)

@littlek,
Me, I like shewolf's macy's one better, but the sears one good too.

I'm a no on Ann Taylor's loft dresses..

This is tricky, as we all have somewhat diff tastes.
