@wmwcjr,
I think that all the major posters on this website like to argue just that some do it in a far more honest manner then others.

So do most 3 year old children.

Let's try this? What would be the recommended jail sentence for assault? How about the sentence for assault and rape? Which charge would put you on the sexual predator list? Better minds than creepy old Bill's have decided the difference.

@glitterbag,
A sexual assault can be a attempted force kiss on New Year Eve or a force full out rape so unless there are details of a crime no one can state what punishment is fitting.

@BillRM,
Well, fortunately the courts can sort that out, even if you still don't know the difference.

LOL you are the ones who wish me to provide simple answers to questions that have no simple answers but depend on human judgment in a case by case basic.

Too bad that judges rarely are the ones anymore that apply that judgment and it all end up being decided between prosecutors and defense lawyers in 98 percents of the cases in plead deals.

@glitterbag,
Footnote it is interesting that your former co-workers was found to had been spying on congressmen and women phone conversations..

If even congressmen are not safe from this kind of abused what the hell is NSA doing to the rest of us?

If I was you I would feel deep shame for having work for these assholes but then again your personality seems a good fit for NSA after all.

He argues his way into corners and then can't figure out what to do.

It's entertaining on a slow day.

Marital rape became a crime in all 50 states in 1993. Let that sink in.
This is shocking for two reasons:
1) He's advocating for rape.
2) It took us until 1993 to make it illegal in the first damn place.

Texas GOP lawmaker: ‘Rape is non-existent in marriage, take what you want’

Quote:
Republican lawmaker in Texas reportedly joked that rape was “non-existent in marriage,” and that husbands could “take what you want” from their wives.

In recently-revealed online comments, state Rep. Jonathan Stickland (R) talks about marital rape and his fondness for marijuana. The comments were provided to the Quorum Report by Strickland’s Republican primary opponent, Pastor Scott Fisher.

Using the profile name “Stick,” Stickland responded to a question about sex with his wife in a comment posted to a fantasy football discussion forum in 2008.

“Rape is non existent in marriage, take what you want my friend!” the lawmaker reportedly wrote to another forum user who complained that his wife would not perform the “reverse cowboy” position during sex.

Stickland suggested in another comment that he wanted to cheat on a drug test.

“They are stupid for doing this to me. I am the residential manager. Lead company in sales every month and now we will see how they respond,” Strickland allegedly explained. “I smoke weed MAYBE 2-3 times a year?”

The user called “Stick” later revealed that he had purchased a “detox drink” and was trying to hide it from his wife. He also said that he was looking for a “smoke buddy” and that anyone interested could contact him by email at [email protected].

Stickland, who describes himself as a “Christian conservative liberty loving Republican” on Twitter, said that “by the Grace of God my past sins are forgiven.”

Following the publication of Stickland online comments, he has only posted a single message on his normally busy Twitter timeline: “Liberty!!!”

@jcboy,
Having the state inside an ongoing marriage bedroom is just looking for false charges and strange emotional entanglements.

One more the first man who was charge under such a law in the US after a costly trial was found not guilt and then the damn couple got back together.

It bad enough dealing with non-stranger date rape and figuring out who is or is not telling the truth and what had or had not happen beyond a reasonable doubt but inside a damn marriage and the privately of the marital bed?

Once the marriage is no longer ongoing I have no problem with charging a man with rape of his wife but not in an ongoing marriage.

That's such a bullshit remark. Shame on you, bill. What have you done with your life, besides peddle kittens in a playground?
