@mysteryman,
I don't think I'm contradicting myself, mysteryman.
Just like every other state, my state has sexual assault statutes that cover just about every conceivable non consensual sex act one person can perform on another person. So men can certainly report any type of sexual assault by a woman. So, I'm fine with my state laws--they cover everything.
But, in my state, and many others, the term "rape" refers to sexual intercourse "as it is normally understood"--the penetration of a vagina by a penis--which generally means the one with the penis is doing the penetrating.
When a woman forces sex on another woman, or on a man, she is charged according to the nature of the act, according to exactly what she actually did--i.e. penetration with an object, digital penetration, forcible touching, etc.
When a man forces anal intercourse on another man, in my state it is not called "rape", but it is just as serious a sexual assault felony as the "rape" of a female by a male, and it carries equally serious punishments.
Women, can be charged with statutory rape in my state, but that is really the only rape charge--and the definition of "rape" is connected to the victim's age with that one.
If a man feels he has been forced into non consensual intercourse, he can certainly report that in my state. Maybe they might even call it "rape". But no one ever reports it. It's never prosecuted.
