@mousy,
Obama Bin Laden has nothing new to offer. He speaks in vague platitudes. He lacks experience. He isn't charismatic. He's just half Black, with a Harvard degree. That's it. He's a figure-head, icon to Blacks, and marble statue. He's isn't real. Neither is his future boss -- Hildabeast. They'll both win because of what they are, not who they are, or what they can do. It's a disaster in the making.

@mousy,
Hill is real, she's just really great with diguises and pandering. Okay, let me rephrase, she really sucks at them but uses them a lot anyway. She's a hardworkin' Southern gal, a California Green hippy, and a New York progressive as well a woman.

@mousy,
My criticism of Obama isn't of his race or his potential religious belief being in sympathy with Islam - it is his insufficient time in political office to adequately take on the role of the President of the United States, when the nation is effectively at war.

The people should continue with a leader familiar with war politics until the middle east crisis is abated somewhat (if it ever reaches that point), and Obama can continue his political learning to come back another time when he matures.

I don't what a neophyte for the top job...sorry.

@mousy,
Obama's just annoying. He spouts out such nice-sounding things but can he really do something?

@Pinochet73,
I wonder about any campaign which is understandably race-based.

What about the human inside the skin - the human who can change our lives and our nation at the sweep of one signature.

In addition comforting phrases aren't what the people should be looking for - this isn't a competition for making the best roast beef dinner. I have never trusted someone who responded to the crowd instead of speaking his/her mind and intention honestly and with integrity.

To date I still know nothing about the man.

He can certainly offer us something- quick and speedy capitulation in the short term, and destruction, death and despair in the long term.

You shouldn't call someone who belongs to a different ethnicity as an extremist.

He might not be the ideal person in office, but he isn't in league with terrorist. And why would he be in league with terrorists?

What gives you the right, Jesus-Pretender?

@mousy,
Oprah may appeal to 40 year old white women, but she's to white men what Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell are to secular atheists.

@Pinochet73,
"You shouldn't call someone who belongs to a different ethnicity as an extremist."

Why not?

"He might not be the ideal person in office, but he isn't in league with terrorist."

He's a Black Muslim. That's all that counts.

"And why would he be in league with terrorists?"

Because he's a Black Muslim.

"What gives you the right, Jesus-Pretender?"

Freedom of speech, Barbarian.

P.S.-- Why are you calling me a 'Jesus-Pretender', when you just argued that Jesus didn't/doesn't exist?

I think Atheists have and inherant problem with people of faith. They can not just believe for themselves, they to have a calling to convert people to there faith, or lack thereof.

@Pinochet73,
He was raised as a muslim in Kenya by his step father, a fact that is swept away by the fact that he "converted" to catholicism when they moved back to America. But from what I understand, he still has strong muslim beliefs.

Okay, first of all, he never lived in Kenya, he was born in Hawaii and lived in Jakarta and Hawaii for his early life. He was also never Catholic as far as I can find out.

You're probably correct. I got it from some mass distributed email...sorry if I was wrong. I went back and re-read it to be certain of the "facts" before I wrote them...
