Priests, when BLESSING someone or something always make the sign of the cross with their hand/fingers saying or singing "In nomini....etc."
I know the translation in English, I've mentioned it in some previous posts, but apparently you missed it.
Few dioceses here in the US use the Latin language, it is now English
In many foreign countries today they use their native language, not Latin.
