Why is it that people from other countries keep thinking they know what's best for us?

A friend called from Alberta the other night and said he was "really impressed" with Hilary! I told him that he just wants our taxes to be as high as his!

its an opinion ! just like people all over the world still fins it hard to believe that an imbecile like bush,was elected president of the USA,as for taxes we in the UK pay higher taxes for a National health service,and we pay ahell of alot more for petrol (gas).

@Curmudgeon,
Was watching Anderson Cooper interview Bill Clinton the other day. For some reason I couldn't help thinking politics in America has become something like championship wrestling. His anger just seemed so staged and fake. Was almost expecting him to challenge Rudy to a no holds barred steel cage death match. LOL

I wonder if such attacks on non-members of this board are acceptable when personal attacks on members are not.

Funny, when I searched for imbecile on Windows Live Search, the second link was to HilaryClinton.com .

Excuse me...but Hilary has a law degree...and can speak eloquently on a myriad of topics....the imbecile can't get through a news conference, and constantly repeats the same scripted material....he can't think his way out of a paper bag...and if that is an attack, I stand accused. Maybe you've heard of the 1st amendment to that old piece of paper, the Constitution?

calling a figure a name is probably not appropriate, but it's also not a personal attack to someone here, so it's out of my jurisdiction.

@Curmudgeon,
I knew that, Brian.
Bush has a law degree also, I believe, and I do admit that he has problems with elocution, but my question was whether Hilary offers any ability to lead the country, not whether Bush can speak publicly.

No, she couldn't. She would destroy America. And Bush is an imbecile. It's amazes me that someone with a Harvard business degree managed to destroy three oil business', and a country. Arbusto, Harken Energy, and Spectrum 7 Energy Corp should have been our first clues not to elect this complete trainwreck.

Because she wants to socialize America, bad politics for Americans. Expansion of the welfare, and nanny state is NOT what this country needs to come out of it's slump. Entitlement programs have proven to be failures. Yes, Ron Paul would do better for America than Hitlery could ever dream.

@92b16vx,
If he was elected he would be shot/gassed/poisoned/car accident or what ever because he isn't what the powers to be want in an elected offical.
They have the power to decide before hand. Look at Mr. idiot Bush. Recall how he won?

She would be infinitely better than George Bush. For one, she would be the first woman prez....that alone would insure that she'd strive for a lofty and proud legacy. Two, and more importantly, she'd strive to outdo, if not equal, the popularity and accomplishments of her husband...who by the way, outside of Monicagate, was a damn good president, if not the smartest (outside of his personal demons)

Actually, she wants to continue many of the Bush administrations pogroms against the American people, including the war. You won't see positive change from a Clinton white house.
