@dlowan,
Okay, now that you've visited Edinburg Castle, pronounce Edinburg for us. LOL
I can still hear our local guide providing us with the correct pronunciation.

@Region Philbis,
I don't get the issue with it.

I now have access (briefly) to decent wii fii!

Lovely day today traveling by train through the most lovely scenery to the Highlands

Tomorrow the Harry Potter express.

Problems emerging because our friends we were going to stay with (and leave stuff with....we are very restricted in what we can take onto the airline we are flying back tol London with) don't have a job as yet

We are trying not to think of that now!

Already we have had to pay out for four extra nights of London than we budgeted for

Have been cut off from news and such for days...but staying beside Ben Nevis tonight and walking past the loch here in the twilight to and from a lovely pub makes that fine!

@dlowan,
Waving to Deb from far, far away ...

Lovely to see you at this ridiculous hour of the morning. Very Happy
More posts from your travels, please! (when you can manage it, of course!)
Sounds like you're having a great time.
How are your $$$$ holding out?

@msolga,
Dunno

As I said, P not having a job yet has had a big effect on us, including financially.

And on him

They're talking about 40 percent public sector job cuts here and he's looking for nhs jobs

@dlowan,
You missed the thread that finally figures out the secret of life and that one thread that proves that god doesn't exist and that thread that proves that George W. Bush was an alien.

But you can't look them up because the CIA erased all traces of those threads.

That's what you get when you don't show up at a2k every day.

@dlowan,
Bunny, can you folks leave your luggage (et al) at some train station lockers, if they have train station lockers, if you can't at your friend's place? I've no idea if airports have lockers..

@margo,
Maybe you can have a reunion when you're all back in Australia. Unless you just can't stand that much travel.
