I just read (on X) that many persons are thoughtlessly spelling "school" as "school." The author demands that these people quit putting the second "o" before the first "o."

Is there life on this planet? I read an article about it yesterday.
True story: Twenty years ago I knew a kid who when learning to talk could not get certain sounds right. Like many kids when they are first learning. This kid pronounced "tr" words with an "f." It was a disaster because he loved and was constantly talking about trucks. What a relief when finally he got it right.
