There was some movie 20-30 years ago about the pirate radio stations and the characters who lived and broadcast into Britain. Okay, who remembers the story?
I don't think it was 20-30 years ago.

Edit: 2009 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1131729/

I used wrong wording, I should have said a movie about an event 20-30 years ago. It actually happen more than 60 years ago. I would still have thought the movie was in the '90's and not 2009. Oh well, I know better than to relie on memory Confused

It's not every day a dog wanders into your house, vomits on your porch and proceeds to hold you "hostage" while repeatedly humping your favorite pillow.

In this colorful, expletive-laden video posted July 1, YouTube user Lord P France describes his hilarious "ordeal" with what he identifies as a horny pit bull -- not to be confused with Cuban-American rapper Pitbull -- that wanders around his porch, scandalizing the occupants who watch helplessly from inside.

"This is some old crazy, mufasa, arc-type crap," the narrator says,

Certainly not every day, Ed, tho' it's very common.

Think Iraq, Afghanistan, Panama, Nicaragua, Chile, ... .

Or the folks who fawn over trashy movies.

Because of an NTSB official in Washington confirming the names.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFDwgJa7JOI&feature=endscreen

I think that was the same official who confirmed that Saddam had WMDs and that the Vietnamese had fired on the Maddox [???] in the Gulf of Tonkin. The US likes to stay with officials who are renowned for telling the truth.

Woman sat dead in front of TV for 42 years

16 May 2008 00:00
THE remains of a woman have been found sitting in front of her TV - 42 years after she was reported missing.

THE remains of a woman have been found sitting in front of her TV - 42 years after she was reported missing.

Hedviga Golik, who was born in 1924, had apparently made herself a cup of tea before sitting in her favourite armchair in front of her black and white television.

Croatian police said she was last seen by neighbours in 1966, when she would have been 42 years old.

Her neighbours thought she had moved out of her flat in the capital, Zagreb.

But she was found by police and bailiffs who had broken in to help the authorities establish who owned the flat.

A police spokesman said: "So far, we have no idea how it is possible that someone officially reported missing so long ago was not found before in the same apartment she used to live in.

"When officers went there, they said it was like stepping into a place frozen in time.

"The cup she had been drinking tea from was still on a table next to the chair she had been sitting in and the house was full of things no one had seen for decades. Nothing had been disturbed for decades, even though there were more than a few cobwebs in there."

Neighbours were shocked by the discovery.

Jadranka Markic was nine when Hedviga "vanished".

She said: "I still remember her. She was a quiet woman who kept herself to herself but was polite. We all thought that she had just moved out and gone to live with relatives."

Dear Daily Mail

By The Hoopla

July 15, 2013
You’ve got to love a protest with a sense of humour, and this song of protest by singer Amanda Palmer is absolutely hysterical.
It. Is. Gold.
Palmer, sometimes known as Amanda ******* Palmer, is a singer who recently performed at the Glastonbury music festival in Britain where, during a number, part of her bosom escaped from her bra.
The tabloid newspaper The Daily Mail saw fit to write a whole article about Palmer’s nipple showing, under the headline “MAKING A BOOB OF HERSELF! AMANDA PALMER’S BREAST ESCAPES HER BRA AS SHE PERFORMS ON STAGE AT GLASTONBURY.”
Rather than writing a review of her music, they wrote a review of her flesh exposition which, if you know Amanda Palmer (she often performs in underwear) is no big deal.
Palmer funneled her bemusement into song, and at her next performance sang this magnificent riposte, in 3/4 time.
There’s no point describing it or reciting her brilliant lines: just watch it.
