Never mind that other stuff, this is more important.

Quote:
(NEWSER) – First the great maple syrup heist, now this: Police in Canada have sniffed out a large-scale cheese-smuggling ring involving a serving police officer, an officer who resigned this summer, and an American accomplice. Cheese is a lot cheaper in the US than it is in Canada, and officials believe the trio bought at least $200,000 worth of the American stuff and sold it to Canadian pizzerias and other restaurants for a profit of $165,000, the Toronto Sun reports.

The men have been charged with conspiracy, smuggling, and other violations of customs law. Smugglers bringing cases of cheese across the border can make up to $2,000 a trip if they can find a buyer, reports the CBC. "We get all our stuff legit," says one pizzeria owner who was questioned by police. "We thought it was a joke at first. Who is going to go around trying to sell smuggled cheese?"

What is wrong with Canada? People have a right to cheap cheese!

rats.
You beat me to this one, Tsar.

I wonder they didn't say that women driving cars would cause the aliens living on the dark side of the moon to come down here and ....drink alcohol.

It's the ONLY country in THE WORLD which doesn't allow women to drive, yet there are still virgins (I think) and the homosexual population is stable, at least in numbers.

The first thing people in Italy are saying is : "Why didn't I think of doing that?"

The police talked to him a long time, during one brief pause he was heard to say:

@Joe Nation,
After watching many episodes of the Youtube sensation, Epic Mealtime, I wish they'd mention the collective calorie count to the entire World's Largest Frito Pie.

@tsarstepan,
You could figure that out easily. First go to MyCalorieCount.com and punch in Frito pie. It will tell you the calories and how many ounces, then go back to the thread and see how many pounds that thing was and do the math.

900 calories for 8 oz.

I'll tell you one thing, it's less calories than a certain former spouse of mine AND I used to consume on a weekend.

The dinosaur is described here:
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2012/10/121003-new-dinosaur-species-fanged-sereno-science/

A new, tiny dinosaur with vampire-like fangs devoured ... plants?

So says a new study of Pegomastax africanus, a 2-foot-long (0.6-meter-long) heterodontosaur that lived about 200 million years ago. (Test your dinosaur IQ.)

Heterodontosaurus was a genus of small, fanged dinosaur species that were "scampering around between the toes of other dinosaurs at the dawn of the dinosaur era," said study author Paul Sereno, a National Geographic Society explorer-in-residence. (National Geographic News is a division of the Society.)
