@msolga,
msolga, I can think of little better than a nice half hour conversation with you, if wishes be horses.

OK, you're on, osso! (Soon as I figure out Skype, etc ...)

And now I'm going to stop digressing ... before people get cranky with me! Wink

I agree on both points. Dolly is always on my "5 people you want to have lunch with" list.

Here's tsarstephan interviewing BBB:

Jaysus boom, get OUT of my head!

I watched that vid last night, trying to find someone who was like tsar. It was spot on for him, but I was too tired to post again.

God yes, Kate Hepburn in that video is BBB!

"yes well, that's stupid" Laughing Laughing Laughing

Very true. You nailed it!

Joefromchicago sounds like Stuart Smalley, but less masculine. Smile

Thank you Chai!

That is so nice of you both.
I will say that is about the end of the possible comparisons...I don't get people making jokes about the jugs and their massive size...ever.

@joefromchicago,
You actually are accurate in placing me closer to Mr. Rogers than Carl Sagan. My Stuart Smalley comparison is not accurate at all, I was just trying to be clever.

@msolga,
The flight might be cheaper. I was dating a man who lived in Montreal part of the week and in Cambridge the rest of the time (loooonnnnnggggg story). We once talked on the phone for six hours. A flight would have cost less.

@plainoldme,
Oh I wouldn't dream of bailing anyone up on the phone for 6 hours at a time, POM! They'd end up cursing me! Laughing

@chai2,
Sorry, I'm going to stay in your head, Chai. It's my "happy place".

Mismi -- Dolly rocks. I did very sincerely mean that clip as a complement. (I have this lovely little fantasy of sitting at the end of a long table, doing shots of Jack Daniels with Dolly, while we laugh and joke about the stuffed shirts we are with. I'm sure you'd be just as fun.)

I remember thinking it was funny when Bi-Polar Bear posted that he felt intimidated after talking to Eva on the phone. I later met Eva at a gathering and I mentioned to her how Bear had characterized her. Eva felt that Bear had gotten the wrong impression.

To me, Eva sounds like the Dean of Women at a university. (I don't mean that in a bad way. Her voice has that kind of sophistication.)

Really?!?!?

Wow. That's not at all how I sound in my own head. Honestly, I am very flattered.

Bear sounded exactly like I imagined him on the phone. Of course, I had heard recorded clips of his singing voice (which is truly amazing) before that, so maybe that's why his voice wasn't surprising. I just remember we immediately launched into conversation like we were old friends. Which, in a way, I suppose we are.
