Yes Fireman Bud and Pueo, Favre moves in mysterious ways. Despite there being a fair amount of scientific evidence to oppose it; you must nonetheless learn to accept in your heart that Brett is the true son of Vince. Only then will you be able to see the world through the beautiful perspective of looking through green and gold colored glasses. In return: The incalculable advantages inherent in this perspective will comfort you for all eternity.

Try the Palm Beach or CityPlace Publix Fireman. Or at least the one on Village Blvd. (and pay very close attention to what EhBeth just said).

I continue to look at the left hands of the attractive, age appropriate men I see at the supermarket. Sigh! They continue to be taken.

Gautam,

With the high divorce rate, I am convinced that for most decades of life, the availability rate is just about 50-50. When people arrive at college, there is a great pairing off, and this is followed by separations and other repairings, marriages and divorces. The decade of the 30s probably has the slimmest pickings: there are a couple of schools of thought about the 30s being the decade of cocooning and family.

Being single in my 40s was great! Being single in my 50s isn't. I suspect the 50s are the decade of second marriages.

Saw a very good looking man at Starbucks. Imagine a shorter, stockier Henry Fonda. I told a woman friend about him and she asked whether he had great eyes. He did. He was balding and his grey hair was cropped close. He had black brows and lashes, a marvelous compexion and steel blue eyes. Unfortunately, after he got his coffee, he crossed the street and got behind the wheel of a car. A woman came out of the drug store and got into the car. Boo hoo!!!

Male, 37 years old, married.

Back when I was single I used to buy mostly prepared food. I didn't have the time or desire to cook. I tended to buy the same things over and over so I'd get in and out of the store as quickly as possible.

Look for prepared dinners, Healthy Choice if the guy's older and trying to stay alive, or Hungry Man if he's young and thinks he'll live forever. Wink

Now that I'm married, I carry a store list and buy mostly unprepared food ingriedents.

So my tip would be, look for the guy that's tossing prepared foods into his cart and doesn't linger except in front of the frozen food isle.

Sound advice, that describes me to a tee . . . were it not for my heart being firmly lodged in the Great White North, i'd be the perfect example of what Briar is writing about.

He's given you good advice there, Ladies, pay heed . . .

Actually, briars bachelor shopper sounds just like me. Well, close. I should look for someone with the same stuff in his cart as I have in mine. he problem is, his wife or girlfriend may shop the same way he and I do.

Was given a free six month membership to a dating service called THe Right Stuff, open to Ivy grads. Can't say I find the pickings all that exciting although I do not have photo posted and have not contacted anyone.

Better yet, look for guys buying only alcohol. For a year or two there I subsisted almost entirely on tacqueria burritos, day old bakery goods, coffee, beer/wine/liquor, drugs, and cigarettes. And occasionally cooked breakfast if I wanted to impress -- so maybe you should look for guys hung over by the eggs at 9 in the morning.

That's if you want to find me at 22, though...

I think men buying mostly alcohol would be a poor choice. On the other hand, men who never buy alcohol are an equally poor choice. I like a glass of wine and drink one at least five nights a week. I would like to share wine and food with a man. Unfortunately, the long term relationships of my life were with men whose food tastes did not overlap mine. I once put into a personals ad that I was looking for a man who hated Asian food and got replies from men who wanted to argue with me! I eliminated the sentence from the ad!

I buy mostly Robitussin, spend most of my money on it, and that doesn't seem to attract the ladies either. Or maybe it's the twinkle, or blood, in my eye.

So don't do that.

Go Pack.
