I actually kinda sorta hiked one last year lol
we went hiking a couple times. was a very nice change of pace from the daily grind -- fresh air, exercise, oneness w/nature, etc... the key is bringing the right amount of supplies; if you pack too much, all you can think about is how heavy your knapsack is as you drudge along...
pack too little and you ultimately take the wrong turn and start wondering if you'll survive the night
