Forgot my bra that day, FM. Best anyways...because nothing worse than bra marks with a decent tan.

Guess I shoulda posted a nip warning!

I'd love for this mess to stop so we can get back to beating up on youse atheists, but there is no way I let this guy finish this thing. He's started a half dozen of these things with his snarky remarks coming out of nowhere...and for no reason other than to take a shot.

So...he got his shot. But I get the last one.

@argome321,
Ahhh...just kidding.

In many circles...I am considered an atheist.

I certainly have more in common with most atheists...than with most theists.

Love 'em all, though.

Yeah, right, eh?

Quote:
Throughout the history of the Soviet Union (1922-1991), Soviet authorities suppressed and persecuted various forms of Christianity. Militant atheism was central to the ideology of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and a high priority of all Soviet leaders. Convinced atheists were considered to be more virtuous individuals than those of religious belief. The state established atheism as the only scientific truth. Soviet authorities forbade the criticism of atheism or of the state's anti-religious policies; such criticism could lead to forced retirement, arrest and/or imprisonment....

Official Communist Party documents often disguised official persecution under euphemisms such as the "struggle against bourgeois ideology", the "dissemination of materialist ideology", etc...The campaign was designed to disseminate atheism, and the acts of violence and terror tactics deployed, while almost always officially invoked on the basis of perceived resistance to the state, aimed in the larger scheme not simply to dampen opposition, but to further assist in the suppression of religion in order to disseminate atheism...

The total number of Christian victims of Soviet state atheist policies, has been estimated to range between 12-20 million.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecution_of_Christians_in_the_Soviet_Union

And that's just the Christians, which was the pre-dominant religion in pre-communist days. The treatment of Jews, and other religious adherents was even worse.

And that's just the soviet union and ignores the widespread persecution, execution, and general abuses of human rights by atheistic rulers in countries like Cambodia and China.

Quote:
Pol Pot, took some inspiration from Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution, but took the idea much further....The educated classes, urban residents, and the religious were undesirables who were targeted for forced labor, torture and execution in the fields and death camps of the regime. Cambodian Buddhism, with very deep roots in the culture and history of the country, became a primary target for elimination....

In the 1960s, prior to the Khmer Rouge seizing power, the number of Buddhist monks and novices was around 65,000. When the Khmer Rouge was finally forced out of power by the Vietnamese army, fewer than 100 monks remained in Cambodia.

@layman,
You are absolutely right snood. Let's kill all the atheists. Oh wait let's first do a historical count of atrocities by the religious and the atheists. Then let's do a count of the current atrocities attributable to the religious and the atheists.

Your entire MO is to attack the mirco on the side you oppose and ignore the macro flaws on the side you defend. Your work on the 'Deny Evolution' is an exemplar.

Bravo!

I'm not the one who posted your quaint little cartoon, eh?

And, needless to say, I have absolutely no clue what you're referring to regarding "denying evolution." Anyone who could actually read my posts would know better.

What is it with dresses being held up by a woman's tits ?
How would people feel if men wore trousers held up by their balls ?
