I am one, but there are lots of others, who uses latin to understand the word atheism. It may well be of greek origin. I think latin was around before french. Maybe your take on it was from a french person who knew greek. Whatever.
They call us weak or soft atheists.

I don't care if you define yourself as agnostic (something like 1000 times).
I don't care what any person thinks of him or herself as being, re religion.
Further, I don't think any of you posting in the last bunch of arguing pages are lying .
I'm interested in this thread, and have been a long time, not for arguing about these words, but for talking among ourselves about our experiences in dealing with, communicating (or failing to communicate) with, people who are religious - family, friends, or others.
