How about Luke 24?
What about it? The timeline is quite simple..
1- Jesus said
"Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit" (Luke 23:46) and then his body died.
2- His lifeless body was taken down and sealed in the tomb (Luke 23:53)
3- Visitors to the tomb later found his body had gone (Luke 24:3) because his soul had re-entered it so that he could appear to his followers elsewhere(Luke 24:15)
In modern terms his and our squishy bodies are "spacesuits" which the soul has to "put on" to get around on earth in the same way battereies have to be put in Buzz Lightyear to make him go..
Jesus said
:-"The spirit within gives life, the flesh alone is worthless" (John 6:63 )
