Even if it were true that the people here are just bashing christians (and that is very far from the truth), it would still be on-topic. This thread is about the experience of being an atheist. The overwhelming majority of those posting here live in ostensibly christian countries. Who should we complai of, the Jains?

Yeah and I laugh every time I hear a christian proclaiming they are being persecuted. How the majority can be persecuted is beyond me but it doesn't prevent them trying to claim that they are.

panzade, Excellent! It tells it like it is in this so-called christian country; conservatives believe that taxing the rich is shifting wealth to the poor - all while our deficit continues to increase to levels that will eventually bite us all in the behind.

Talk about hypocrisy, they just don't "get it."

Did you know that there are insects in the Tennessee caves that live in the dark, and they have learned to survive by improving their other senses through evolution.
