If the human rights are violated - it is correct to go the ECHR.

Thus Amanda and Raffaele's coming appeal to the ECHR.
AGAIN: according to the court's own website (besides that, to ALL known information), you can't appeal to the ECHR

Here's a case in which justice finally seems to be coming down like a ton of bricks on a bunch of clowns who richly deserve it:

Hopefully there will be a huge payout of compensation as well.

Good grief.

It's a bit odd then how they are always hearing appeals from people who have had their rights violated.

You seem to be ... well, a bit uneducated about (European) law and legal procedures.
An appeal is an appeal (you should look that up)
A violation of human rights is a violation of human rights (you should look up as well).

a) I didn't tell that but I copied/pasted from the ECHR website.
So, if anyone - they told it,
b) it's correct, officially correct, published by the court

My biggest question has to do with Raffaele's inheritance.

If Italy convicts Raffaele, will the Kerchers be able to begin stealing it right then, or will such a transfer be put on hold until after the European Court of Human Rights sorts things out?

IF the Kerchers are allowed to steal Rafaele's inheritance, who reimburses Raffaele after the European Court of Human Rights sorts things out? Do the Kerchers have to pay it all back, or do the Italian taxpayers cover it? If the Kerchers have to pay it all back, what if they can't? Can their houses and retirement accounts be seized?

Depends on the issue. The issue that I asked about, I am indeed unclear on.

There actually are countries and places I'd like to visit. Italy isn't one of them...

I have not followed all the twists and turns very closely. I assume, because they found her guilty, after checking and rechecking the evidence, she has to bear guilt. Justice is served.
