@realjohnboy,
I believe it's in the 9th inning. Yankees are winning 5 to 4.

@tsarstepan,
The Phillies are up for the final chance ... two outs and no one on. They are now losing 7 to 4.

@realjohnboy,
It's going to take a miracle or a megadisaster to help the Phillies recover now.

@farmerman,

If the first game is any indicator, the Phillies seem to be hot and the YAnkees seem to suffer from a weak bullpen. ...

And here I thought your commentary on science topics was ignorant......

Anybody catch the stunt Damon pulled pulled last night? I mean, he basically beat Philly with his mind.

@gungasnake,
Anybody understand why Manuel likely tossed the series away by not pitching Lee?

@panzade,
A debatable choice. Blanton was brilliant this year but his career ERA made one wonder if/when his good luck would run out. Last time CC pitched against the Phils on three days rest (last year v. Milwaukee, damnit) he got rocked. It was a gamble, but had the Phils beat the Yanks last night they'd be 2-2 with no CC until game 7, when he'd again be on short rest.

@Region Philbis,
The Phils bats overcame Blanton.

I don't think they can get past Lidge...

(lee threw around 125 pitches last time. no way Charlie starts him on 3 days)
