As far as I can tell from their website, apparently the school is doing a superior job. I suppose that the name was changed because over 50% of the students are black. Actually, in that particular case, I think that calling the school Obama (but NOT Michelle) was probably a good idea. Gives the kids a role model.
But, besides that old bill, How many George AND Martha Washington Streets, schools or buildings are there!
What's your point? Are you insisting on "name parity" for Martha Washington just because some public elementary school in St. Paul is named for both Barack and Michelle Obama? Who cares? If we found something named for both George and Martha, would that mean there's a Washington personality cult?
not sure Phoienix, but I do know of some high schools named "Washington High School"
I googled "washington high school" and there were far too many hits to make much of a judgment about but noticed there is also a Booker T Washington High School.

So, what, according to your logic, would be Obama worship? Do they need an altar with candles and a picture of Obama while wearing cloaks and on their knees praying? That would seem to be a rather narrow sighted perspective and assuredly hard to find evidence of.
