@realjohnboy,
the fluid is hard to remove from the monitor, rjb.

(i forgot. you were the guy pushing pencils, weren't you?)
@realjohnboy,
Quote:Still waiting on Panzade
I did my pcks jb...unless the cheerleaders blinded the list
I find your choice of the Titans, Panzade, and the cheerleader pictures. But I don't see the rest of the schedule. Please post again and alert me to where they were so I won't assume I am seriously senile.
@realjohnboy,
you're kidding , right?
jeez...all right .I'll transform the cheerleader pictures into my picks.
@panzade,
Besides the obvious distraction, I don't have a tv so I don't know team colors or logos. Upon further review, I think I have recorded your picks in most of the games.
@realjohnboy,
i'll go look again, rjb, if you want a second opinion...
@realjohnboy,
hey johnny. When you start talking all formal like that it means I've bugged ya. I wasn't trying to gum up the works. Tell you what. Throw my picks out and consider me gone. I'll catch the next season.
@panzade,
no need to fall on yer sword like that, soldier...
@panzade,
No, no, Pan. Very little bugs me. I should have caught the gimmick with the picture of the Steerer's cheerleaders. Pittsburgh is the only team that doesn't have scantily clad, long legged blond cheerleaders. The Rooney family doesn't allow that.

Those switches are to two of my picks. You're risking the Texans to go one in front. Or one behind. Strategic picking.
Houston is a better team and I believe they will win.
@McGentrix,
Well--I presume that you believed the Raiders and the Broncos would win when you made your first picks. And now you don't. Now you believe that the Browns will beat the Raiders and the Eagles will defeat the Broncos.

nope, just picked them at random until I could read more about the games.
Yeah. Okay. Maybe.
But after 225 games I would expect random picks to come out at 0.500 + or-- a small percentage.
Good day to everyone. We in Cville are now into our 3rd or 4th day with temps in the mid to high 40 degrees. The snow is melting. Things are looking brighter.
And things look bright for us in this NFL picking game. We are, as a group, quite convinced about this week's games. We are unanimous in picking Atlanta over Buffalo, Green Bay against Seattle, New Orleans hosting Tampa Bay, Arizona vs St Louis, San Francisco playing St Louis and Philadelphia against Denver. ElStud alone favors Kansas City and Wandeljw chooses (from the heart) Chicago over Brett and Minnesota.
I am listing 2 games as toss-ups where we are divided evenly: Oakland @ Cleveland and Baltimore @ Pittsburgh.
Region, Johnboy and Tico agree with the majority on all of the non toss-up games. Wandeljw, Fbaezer and ElStud disagree with the majority on 3 games.
We should know a lot about how this week will turn out after the early games.
The Cat Cowers In The Corner
Some of my employees gave me a pretty powerful paper shredder for Christmas. It is not something I would have imagined I wanted. I took it home and hooked it up.
I have accumulated piles of paper related to various projects going back awhile. I feed them into the machine. Shred, shred.
It is a bit addictive. The finality of it.
I look for something else to chew up. I look at the cat.
@realjohnboy,
Saint Louis gotta play twice?
that don't seem fair...
(even for a saint)
@Rockhead,
San Francisco hosting Detroit. Thanks.
Someone actually reads my posts? Get a life.
@realjohnboy,
them are hard to come by where I hang out, rjb.
and it's aboot 17 degrees here. waiting for the stove in the shop to make a dent in the iciness where I gotta spend my afternoon.
(you guys ain't gonna let a furriner win this thing, are you?)
