the appointment was for 9:30 this morning, it is now 11:20. I've heard nothing, just sitting here, alone, in the dark, knowing nothing. The procedure may be done and lady Diane and Osso may be having brunch; the procedure may not have even started yet and everyone is just sitting around. But, here I am just sitting here, alone, in the dark, knowing nothing. So it goes.

I turned on the light and am now eating pizza left over from last night.

in my house, the light stays on when you close the door and there are 2 shelves where none are needed.

What was the pizza doing in the fridge? I thought you were supposed to leave next to the couch.

So, I'm baaaaaak. The procedure went well. Of course now I look like someone took a knife to my eye in a barroom brawl. Ice pack once an hour for 20 minutes until swelling subsides, except at bedtime. Totally different atmosphere in the surgery room from the last operation - music very low. This surgeon was good too, so to date I'm batting a thousand with the UNM eye clinic. All the med personnel were convivial/caring.

No brunch for the ladies. I needed to stop at a pharmacy and pick up some Tylenol, and get home and do the ice pack thing. Plus... I'd scare people in a restaurant... there's some oozing going on.

Pizza, that sounds good... (but I have plenty of food in the house).
