You're forgetting the Constitution again. Semi-autos don't produce aimed fire much faster than any other gun that is suitable for self defense.

There is no justification for outlawing them.

And guns covered under the assault weapons ban remain banned no.matter whether you agree with the term or not. Semi autos with a standard magazines commit mass murder in five seconds and that is sufficient for most people to not want them around.

Actually the 1994 ban on hunting rifles expired long ago. But the left will need to pay massive compensation to gun owners for having imposed this ban before you will ever get my support for any new gun laws.

The NSSF dosnt agree with you at all, and they are the gun industry direct lobby. They say that lightweight semi auto "military Style" (Or in their words "Modern Sporting Rifles")
"by their ability to load subsequent shells, allow quicker target acquisition for such animals a feral pigs.

Thats a market statement, used when they came up with that bS term "modern porting rifles" (In order to divert our attention that these weapon are copies of military rifles most used for urban assault.

Wrong again. There is no compelling government interest in outlawing pistol grips on a semi-auto rifle.

"Progressives thinking that it is fun to violate people's civil liberties" does not count as a compelling government interest.

As for denying the color of the sky, that just shows how far the left will go to deny reality.
