By my reckoning, 7 of us have AZ vs 15 for CA. Edgar and Alex have AZ as going all the way. Imur, Cowdoc, Miz Cowdoc and CoastalRat think CA will reign supreme.

@realjohnboy,
Holy crap, the mighty Panthers are getting their asses kicked! Wow. I'd love to see them get beat too. Underdogs win on Saturday, favorites win on Sunday. I could deal with that.

@kickycan,
Somehow, the Miz and I have reached the conclusion that our pick of the Panthers to go all the way might be a bit optimistic.

Was it a day of upsets? I think so.
Imur, Cowdoc, Miz Cowdoc and CoastalRat see their dreams of a Carolina victory in the Super Bowl evaporate, just as Cyclop, Wandeljw, Tico. George and ElStud saw Tennessee humbled.
So much for the South rising again.

On the bright side, two bronze little stars adorn the foreheads of Edgar, Alex and Foxfyre tonight. They are off to a good start.

Since I didnt get a chance to pick the SAturday games, I'm kinda behind the 8 ball.

If someone will be kind enough to post the games from Sunday on, so I can pick, I will appreciate it.

I dont even know who won on saturday.

@mysteryman,
Sorry you didn't find us here, MM, until today.
The early game (1 pm ET) features Philly @ the NYGiants followed @4:45 by San Diego @ Pittsburgh.
The winner of the 1st game meets Arizona next week while Batimore awaits the winner of the 2nd game.
The winners there collide in the Super Bowl.

@realjohnboy,
Giants
Pittsburgh (and it kills me to say that, since I'm from San Diego)

THEN...
Giants
Pittsburgh

THEN...

Pittsburgh

A fine Sunday to yall! It is 45 and sunny in my corner of Virginia and I am feeling good. I re-discovered my bread making machine. Today we will go for "Flavored Herb Bread." Cooked up a huge pot of chili last night.
Two games today in the NFL. The 1st one is Philadelphia at the NY Giants. 16 of us have the Giants vs 7 for the Eagles. I thought it would be more evenly divided.
Two more bronze stars to be awarded. Many of us will be looking for our first one. Amongst the people with two already, Edgar has NY while Alex and Foxfyre have Philly.

I am a lifelong Steelers fan, but I can't let emotion get in the way of those little stars.

Halftime. 10-8. I have no tv. Is it stellar defenses or inept offenses?
