@realjohnboy,
RJB...interesting -- we disagree with Match #1 and #4, but agree the rest of the way.

Game #1: Baltimore Ravens vs Tennessee Titans. Who will win?
BALTIMORE

Game #2: San Diego Chargers vs Pittsburgh Steelers. Winner is?
PITTSBURG

Game #3: Arizona Cardinals vs Carolina Panthers. Your pick?
ARIZONA

Game #4: Philadelphia Eagles vs NY Giants. Who wins?
PHILADELPHIA

Pick those four games to be played this weekend. Then move along:

Game #5: Your choice in #1 vs your choice in #2
PITTSBURGH

Game #6: Your choice in #3 vs your choice in #4
PHILADELPHIA

And finally, for all the glory:
Game #7: Your choice in #5 vs your choice in #6 for Surperbowl Champ.
PHILADELPHIA

How easy is that?

Easy enough.....but assuming that I picked as badly here as I did during the regular season, will there be a chance to repick the next round as the initial winners are decided?

@ElStudHoncho,
No, HERE'S how the game is played.

Game #1 Tennessee (look for the Ravens to have it won and then blow it at the last minute.)

Game #2 Steelers. They'll win it handily.

Game#3 Panthers, by a lot

Game#4 Giants, but just barely.

Next week.

AFC Championship: Steelers will beat the living **** out of the Titans.
NFC Championsip: Giants, in another close one.

And finally, the Steelers will win their sixth superbowl ring.

P.S. Nobody's done that yet, have they? Who has the most SB wins? Anyone know? I think it's a tie. Pittsburgh and a couple other teams have five. I think.

Good afternoon to all. Thanks for the last minute joinees. Kicky, yall may know, started the now long-lived NFL pick-um game 5 seasons ago.
I kind of got knocked down by a cold this past week and have not devoted a lot of time to this. But we are up to 21 players. There is the usual bunch plus CoastalRat whom I don't know.
9 of us have Baltimore this afternoon vs 12 for Tennessee. Some of the latter are quite committed to Tennessee. Cyclop, Wandeljw, Tico and ElStud see the Titans as going all the way. Only Rockhead has the Ravens running the table.
Each of the 8 teams has at least one vote to win the Super Bowl.
Later.

@Region Philbis,
Duly noted about Region/Ragman. I don't have a tv. Why didn't TN get the "sure" FG at the end of the half from about the 40?

@Foxfyre,
I have run across CR on some threads, few if any of which I happen to play in. There is, of course, no litmus test for participation here. We allow girls, Canucks, Mexicans etc.

Yeah. The Titans are done. I don't like it because, if the Steelers win, they will have to beat the Ravens for the 3rd time this season. The Steelers won by only 3 in each of the 1st two meetings.

I never got around to making up the rules, I mean telling yall the rules, for what will be happening here.
Those of yall who had TN as the Super Bowl champ are toast. But fear not! You are still alive in this game:
Everyone who had Baltimore will receive a little bronze paste-on star that you can wear on your forehead to the water-cooler on Monday. Osso, Edgar, Fbaezer, Region, Alex, CoastalRat, Ragman, Rockhead and Foxfyre get one. I got one of those stars when I was in the 1st grade for being really good at banging together chalkboard erasers. The only award I ever got in the 55 years after.
Another bronze star will be awarded to the correct pickers in the next game: AZ @ CA.
Silver stars will be awarded after the next round.
And Gold stars at the end.
Stay tuned.
