@djjd62,
Hi djjd62

thanks very much for posting those

There was something his sister said.. about, 'the more he saw, the more he couldn't say' or something like that.
And, how he felt that he had something he needed to say.. but didn't know exactly what it was .i relate to that.

also how creativity/depression seem linked
and how being on anti-depressants can numb you.
I mean, he couldn't even sing and play the guitar at the same time towards the end!

i wouldn't normally be to eager to get my hands on new covers of his songs, but i saw this the other day....

Heath Ledger Included on Nick Drake Tribute

Compiled by DAVE ITZKOFF
Published: January 20, 2009

A coming album paying tribute to the British singer-songwriter Nick Drake will include a song performed by the actor Heath Ledger, Billboard reported. The track, a cover of Mr. Drake’s “Black Eyed Dog,” was recorded by Mr. Ledger in 2007 for an art installation; Mr. Ledger died the following January....

Other performers on the tribute album, which was announced at the MidemNet music industry conference in France, include Eddie Vedder, Dave Grohl, Norah Jones and Jack Johnson.

Apparently the art video is going to be available too.

@Endymion,
on onions ...

the other night I dry sauteed some sliced onions, mushrooms, fennel and chiffonaded brussels sprouts - added a bit of EVOO and balsamic vinegar once it had all started shrinking down - then some olive salt and pepper

yummmmmm

It's a very personal story, for his family i mean - i respect them for sharing it. it's a shame the 4th gets cut at the end.. and that they don't play a few more of his later tracks (pink moon being my favourite album) - but it's well done i think.

@ehBeth,

I was just joking with Olga. I was following a recipe but (stupid of me) I thought i'd put in a few more lentils because the measurement didn't look like it would be enough - duh
lentils for dinner lentils for tea lentils for breakfast lentils . Thing is its so delicious I've been unable to resist it Smile
