Funny how our minds all work differently.

Back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth, I totally could not get it when teachers would present alternative ways to add this. So, I strictly when by this for years.

At some point in early adulthood, I realized I can subtract far better than I can add.
When I add things that don't end in zero, I feel like a caveman adding sticks on the ground.
When I subtract, it feels like a part just dropping into place without me thinking about it.

That is funny! Not in a funny haha sort of way though. :/ Still kinda cute.

Does this need to be funny?

I play Space Engineers with my Roommate sometimes and we turn on this really unreasonable mod with all sorts of AI attacking us. Well, we were just recovering from defending against a really nasty one and repairing our base when out of nowhere it just exploded and we were both killed. It turns out there was an AI going top speed that just kamikazed us. It was frustratingly funny.

I just veered from it because I was curious about something.

When you see 27 + 48 you're immediately struck by its pulchritude and reminded of a relationship that has nothing whatsoever to do with Pythagoras.

The rampant 3 times ( the embedded 3^2 plus 4^2 equals 5^2 ) sticks out like the proverbial hecatomb to the gods.

Then it's just a matter of remembering your 25 times tables to give whatever the answer is to whatever the question was.

I do 20+48=68 then 68+7 - I wonder if the metric system makes by brain different to anglo-USians.

That's an interesting idea because that's how I would do it too.
