@Region Philbis,
There is a street (possibly private) in Rio Rancho, NM called Yippee Calle.

@hingehead,
While this is cute it's also a fail on two counts

Nothing latent about Jaime's sexual feelings for his sister
Jaime didn't have a nephew - the complete and total douche was his son.

@hingehead,
Factually Geoffrey was both his son AND his nephew.

@maxdancona,
'Factually' is an interesting adjective.

I guess it depends on the definition of 'nephew' you use. Genetically not his nephew, legally probably.

I mean I've know people who were raised by their grandmothers thinking they were their mothers, because the person they thought was their sister was actually their biological mother.

@hingehead,
What definition of "nephew" are you using?

Geoffrey is the biological son of Jaime's sister. That makes him Jaime's nephew by any definition of which I am aware.

@maxdancona,
Geoffrey is the biological son of Jaime. That makes him Jaime's son by definition.

If you are only aware of definitions derived from social conventions I can see why we often cross swords.

@maxdancona,
If it helps a niece or nephew is not your 'genetic' descendant - they are a genetic descendant of your sibling.

Euler's expression e^(i*π ) + 1 means nothing to me.

In this case he is both son and nephew.

1) He is the genetic descendent of Jaime, so he is Jaime's son.
2) He is the genetic descendent of Jaime's genetic sister, so he is also Jaime's nephew.

@maxdancona,
Hmmm. I can see your point, but in biological terms, if you had to say he was either his son or his nephew which do you think takes genetic precedence?
