Choke is a great book.

Invisible Monsters was also morbidly fun.

I haven't read any of his newer books in years. I gave up on Pygmy a chapter or two in because it was (intentionally) so poorly written (to mimic its near illiterate protagonist).

You have to strap yourself in for this one, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

It's one of those movies you have to watch twice, to figure out WTF happened.

Gonna try to take a look. Might find it in one of those DVD bins somewhere...or on demand.

The guy in the Red Shirt knew he was gonna die anyway. The Red Shirts always did.

Funny that Roddenberry was prescient...and made the red's expendable.

John Scalzi wrote a book called Redshirts where the Redshirts figure out something is up and decide to do something about it. It is an amusing read.

The audiobook version of Redshirts is read by Wil Wheaton.

It's one of the weaker John Scalzi books I've read. Not terrible but mildly disappointing.

I see what you are saying... I did enjoy the premise and the first half of the story. The little rituals they did to avoid the narrative made me laugh. It did drag on though.

I do enjoy Scalzi.
