Correct. I have been owning Fords lately anyway, and this is an incentive to stay with what is working. My mistake, I owned some Ford stock, but sold too quick to take profits, but profits could have been a whole lot more.

Relative to this point, this is an excellent commentary by Karl Rove in regard to Obama's practice of intimidating businesses and industries. I think the summary of the whole thing is that Obama is using Chicago thuggery politics to get his way, which even the Clintons recognized this a long time ago and accused Obama of it, I think during the campaign. pom, you are amazingly dense. I merely made a common sense observation about human nature. Nowhere did I make a judgement that human nature was correct in that case. In fact, one of my basic beliefs is that human nature is inherently weak and with many flaws. When you read something, do you actually attempt to understand what you are reading?

If It was good enough for the mother church during the killing of 6 millions Jews how can we question it?

Why is it that when they refer to the holocaust it is only the jews who were killed. 5.9 million were jews out of 13 million who were executed. They never refer to the other innocents who were killed. I would be more inclined to feel for them if they wouldent hold it as a jewish catastrophe and ignore the other 7 million who died.

A shirt tail relative of mine was killed at Auschwitz. He was from the branch of the family that stayed in Poland in the 1880s when my direct ancestor emigrated. He was elevated to bishop and said one mass and then was arrested by the SS. He was one of the candidates for sainthood when the pope before this one was looking to elevate one of those named "blessed" to the rank of saint but was not consecrated.
