@Butrflynet,
Thanks, kiddo...

kidding, we're not alllll that far apart re years, bfn, and I promise to not overuse the kiddo thing. Usually, though, I say that only to peers, but you couldn't just know that.)
But I'm not getting this one. Stuck in the old days, I suppose. First of all, I couldn't hear a lot of it. Mur mur murmur mur mur. Ain't no Suzanne.

Bob told me details re the Suzanne thing today...

@ossobuco,
Well, to riff on that..

when I saw Bob yesterday he made scarily no sense except within no sense which is still some, as in he used real words - but was sincere and talked well, if very slowly.
when I saw Bob today, he was himself, occasionally slow, not always, but astute, many times fast.

Diane say she kept on talking, engaging.
I think she pulled him through, with the engagement.
Love in action.

@ossobuco,
Adding, Dys pulled himself through, too -- he happens to have a major brain with a will.

According to Diane, dys flipped me the finger when I sent him a regard after a long conversation with Diane. Sounds about right. I flipped him a finger back. Still sent the regard, though. Yes, only one. I didn't want to overdo.

I have never met two people like them. They are going through what would be an intolerable situation for most with grace, humor, and intense caring. They are prime examples of the power of love. It is my great joy to know them.

I am hopeless on the phone and would worry about interrupting sleep etc. Hope you know Dys and Diane that I think about you every day and wish you both the very best.

@dyslexia,
Ah, there he is..... I am glad you're doing better dys. Hold your dominion and
get a phone line for chriss sake - shouting through the megaphone isn't what
it's cut out to be, and this doesn't work too well either...

@Phoenix32890,
Thanks a lot, shortie, for making the tears come back. Truly thank you for being able to express so well the kind of love and the kind of relationship we have.

And for all the rest, we love you.

And for our sleep schedules, don't worry about calling at any time during the hours of 10:00AM and 7:00 PM Mountain Standard Time. It takes a little more time to get dressed these days, so Dys isn't up at the crack of dawn. I'm sure he will return to his old schedulewhen he's better.

Osso was so right aobut our sleep times being a little wacky, but usually any time during the day will work. It took until this morning before Dys realized that the phone we had been usuing had lost its power.

We both love hearing from you so please don't worry about disturbing our sleep. If I am sleeping in the bedroom, I won't hear the phone, thus guaranteeing that my sleep won't be disturbed and Dys usually naps on the couch and will hear the phone,...... if I have remembered to leave it within his reach!

For those of you who are uncomfortable making calls, we understand. I think many of you know how neurotic I am about crowds--we all have our little phobias. Dys, being Dys, is a truly strange person, so don't worry, he makes his own world whenever he needs to, a skill I envy.

Love, love, love
d
