Sure it does. In an election, someone must win and someone must lose.
That's the way it's supposed to work.
We just try and do better next time.

No.
It won 't work; its too late; hopeless.

Since it's hopeless, you have 3 choices.
1. Move out of the country.
2. take your life
3. get medical help for your depression. (thanks to the Democrats and some liberal GOP your insurance will pay for that help.)

@Francis,

You mean that this new America,
because people elected a differently chromatic president, is not a decent one?
And that it's not free?

He did not take over yet,
nor did his Demos in Congress yet have a chance to do anything.
If u need to be that technical,
it will not expire until January,
not that W was so terrific either.

Its W who is to blame for ruining the economy
by KEEPING troops getting killed and spendings tons of money
just to help the damned Iraqians.

If W had brought the troops home
when we overthrew Saddam, everything woud have been OK.
We 'd have prospered and the forces of darkness
woud not have defeated the forces of good in the election.

It was not supposed to be foreign aid to the Iraqians.
It was supposed to be a defensive war against Saddam.

I did not repudiate anything.
I took cognizance of the fact that it no longer exists,

U have indicated In your semi-literacy
(yea: go ahead and comment on my fonetic spelling)
that u do not know what a traitor is; no matter.

It continues to exist for all purposes, practical and otherwise.
Your repudiation of it marks you as a traitor.
You do not deserve to live here.

Extra point for Walter for correct usage of the word "terrific".

@parados,
No.
Tho I can 't fiddle while ancient Rome burns,
I can just have a good time, enjoy hedonism, while America collapses,
and its liberty vanishes, after some flourishes of leftist rhetoric.
I can put defense of freedom on Ignore, since it is hopeless anyway,
and give my attentions to vertibrate paleontology, astrophysics and cosmology.

I do not deny that the pendulum still swings,
as it always has, but reactionaries will not be elected
who will restore the basic American freedom that is destined to be permanently lost.

It will even be expunged from the history books of the public schools.

@OmSigDAVID,
for crying out loud, david. i wish your guns would make you a little less self-pitying, but i guess it doesn't work that way.
you don't like the guy who won the election. lah-di-da. this IS the american freedom, people voted and this guy won. that's what democracy is, hello. there will be another election. and then another one. that's how it works. it's not the end of the world as you pathetically portray it to be.

Yes.
He warned us; he must have had fun with that.

There can be no denying that Oboy has charisma;
Musolini, Hitler n Castro found that very helpful.
It is effective for politicians.
He had nothing else; he did not need anything else.

@OmSigDAVID,
Change is coming David....

And it's going to get you......

It might be under your bed.
It might be in your closet.
It could be hiding in the darkness outside your front door.

You don't know where change is but it's gonna get you.

BOO!

How coud thay POSSIBLY have that effect ? (unless u r encouraging suicide) ?

IMO, more likely than not,
there will be other elections.
Thay will be futile as to undoing the damage to personal freedom
that is destined to come with Oboy and his Demos in control of both houses of Congress.

In the earliest years of my life, in the public school,
we used to sing of FREEDOM ringing from every mountainside.
That spirit will be gone, that freedom-based ambience will be gone, like the dinosaurs.
Nothing anyone says will change that.
Nothing anyone does will change that.

@OmSigDAVID,
you voted. that was your freedom. your choice differs from the majority. the end. that's the democracy. except some accept the loss of their candidate graciously, while others whine it's the end of the world as we know it.

the guns - you boast about how safe they made you feel. well, i'm saying i wish they also made you stronger, but you are right, they cannot possibly have that effect so we will have to listen to your proclamations of epic tragedy for the next 4-8 years.

@Gargamel,
I took all the clocks off my walls and flushed my watch down the toilet.

Time does not exist anymore.

No America
No Time.....

No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound
Nothing to eat, no books to read

Sometimes, all I need is the air that I breathe
And to love you

This goes out to you Garg.

@OmSigDAVID,
Well you can get a good idea about a candidate by the kind of people he or she draw to their support and OmSigDAVID is a fine example of the irrational fear driven and hate full people who ended up supporting the McCain-Palin team.

I can only hope not only is Obama up to the challenge of office but that the Secret Service is up to protecting him.
