@shewolfnm,
Quote: I agree.. ( on the no big deal part) and I have had that conversation with others before..
They will say "well you were not really homeless"...
and though I get offended,
I know that they are speaking from a technical point of view only.
It did
not occur to me
that this was a sensitive topic,
such as to
OFFEND u; if it had, I 'd have kept on scrolling
and said nothing. I considered it to be a
safe topic,
and one with which I have had some personal experience --
not homelessness, but sleeping in my car, which I found to be
more
comfortable than raising and breaking down my tent.
The last time that I used a tent for camping, I planned to leave
to return to the City at 2 AM, to avoid traffic and conjestion
at the Bridge. It did not occur to me that it woud
RAIN,
and I 'd be stashing stuff (wet stuff) in my trunk.
I fly a lot, and I enjoy staying at the best hotels.
I am fond of the Hyatt chain.
However, my car was comfortable enuf
that I found no need for better accomodations
( i.e., no tent nor hotel ).
Quote:But , wether you are sleeping under a bridge or in a car,
homeless is homeless.
Admittedly, I have never tried sleeping below a bridge
( is
THAT the definition of a troll ? )
but I gotta believe that is a lot worse than sleeping in your car,
unless u have an uncomfortable car. (no offense)
My cars are sealed, waterproof n have good, reclining driver's seats.
