Made it. See below.
Had to run 12 miles in the freezing rain and wind yesterday. It was supposed to be a fifteen, but I have become, in these last few years, a very careful listener of my mind and body.
B: bagel and banana, coffee
E: 12.3 miles. Could have easily done more but I wore a sweatshirt and it had become the perfect device for pressing frozen water up against my neck and back. Gah. Duh.
L: An omelette {cheese, ham and mushrooms} which I had promised myself at mile eight, coffee, quart of Gatorade and a bagel, no butter.
Rest: New category. I laid down for a nap at two, didn't set a clock, woke up at 5:15PM. Gee, was I sleep deprived?
D: Roast chicken, a glass of wine, veggies.

Okay, so in my journal I report that two days after my 58th birthday I weighed in at 263. (I know at sometime before that I probably weighed more, but have only pictures to guess at)
Here's today:
442 days of reporting here
1416 days of monitoring on Weight Commander.com
442/172.7/-28.4 reporting here.
A total loss of 90.3 pounds since getting serious (and joyful) about becoming normal.

@Joe Nation,
Happy stats, JoeN..

me, I'm 148 lbs yet again, steady as she goes, slight downward tilt barely discernible over the same time as JN's stats (I think I started at 154). A friend keeps telling me how thin I look. I think it's just that somewhere around 151 I could fit into my "medium" clothes. (Out with at least some of the large, and the extra larges left before I got to the 154).

Yesterday, not so far away -

coffee x 2, 1 tsp sugar total

bowl of addict's Saag Paneer (that first spoonful is always bracing)

watered down grapefruit juice

half slice of the remnants of a sinful dish I made and gave away half of - a torte with a buttery crust, and buttery buttermilk and sugar and two cups of berries filling. Calories up the wazoo.

another coffee

bolillo roll with slivers of monterey jack cheese, 1 sliced bratwurst, dill pickle relish, slivered onion, mustard, baked for 20 minutes in foil

two ice filled glasses of bourbon and lf chocolate milk

gerolsteiner mineral water

@ossobuco,
Trouble ahead..
along with some fun.
My cousins are coming to New Mexico in their r.v., want to see some sights here (they used to live in NM) and then take me back with them to CA, stopping in Phoenix, Sedona, Flagstaff and I forget where else. Then I'll stay in California for about ten days visiting family and friends.
My cousins are, ahhh, chubby, robust eaters, not so much other family and friends. There will be a lot of meals. I'm bound to gain some weight. We'll see, as I'm really protective of my small but steady weight loss.

osso, good luck with your travels. Eating healthily (is that a word?) on the road is sometimes hard to do.

@mac11,
Thanks, mac. Should be easier once I get up to LA and stay with my healthnut bro in law and my niece, and then catch up with old friends, most of whom have eaten healthily for decades - but that first week before LA, uh oh.
