@jespah,
Uh, not a great week, despite the 5K. As Thomas and RP can attest, I ate my weight in chips on Sunday, and undid what I lost during the 5K, and more. Oof. Big salt intake, hence a big water weight gain.

Back on track this week. If I go rather low salt and drink water, that should kick most of this out.

Last Week's Averages:
CALORIES 1677
CARBS 267 g
FAT 38 g
PROTEIN 94 g
Sodium: 2247 mg <-- this is wrong; it's likely a lot higher but I just don't have it counted somehow.

Starting Weight: 346 lbs.
Current Weight: 218.8
Difference from last week: up 4.2 lbs.
Overall difference: down 127.2 lbs.

1st 5K of the season - 49:27 gun time. Chip time is not up yet. I felt very good during the race, but I ate like I hadn't eaten in months when it was over.

@Joe Nation,
Less crazy, but still on the edge of occasional madness.

(Had to have TWO Guninesses for St. Patrick's day? Really?
Ran more than ten and less than 15 miles last week.
Feeling okay, right leg is trying to renegotiate its contract.

@jespah,
I went back on track last week, rather low salt and of course I drank water, which I do every week. As expected, it kicked all of last week's gain out, and more.

Last Week's Averages:
CALORIES 1715
CARBS 256 g
FAT 43 g
PROTEIN 106 g
Sodium: 2149 mg

Starting Weight: 346 lbs.
Current Weight: 212.2
Difference from last week: down 6.6 lbs.
Overall difference: down 133.8 lbs.

I watched but I did not go insane. It was nothing that I could not repeat relatively regularly. One thing I did was eat more calcium than usual - in the form of Skinny Cow ice creams for a few nights there as we had 80 degree weather.

I do not consider this a 6.6 pound loss so much as I consider it to be a 2.4 pound loss from 2 weeks ago. This # is tied for the second-lowest weight of the year so far.

@jespah,
Goodie.

I think I am at 201.0, that's one down, but I wasn't using my home scale.
Recheck in the morning,

@jespah,
Do you chart your weekly weigh ins, jes? If so, can you see any seasonal trends?

@JPB,
I do, and the end of the summer tends to be lowest for me. Hmm.

@jespah,
Me too. Then cave-man genetics kicks in and I start eating in anticipation of winter. Also, my exercise goes down in the winter.

@JPB,
My winter exercise tends to be more in the form of weight training (e. g. snow shoveling), although not this past year. Hmm.

Right now I'm where I was a month ago (the previous entry was a true low, but this isn't too far behind that).

@dadpad,
Do you have a TV remote? Get rid of it, get up walk over and change the channel. (not joking)

You ate good healthy food, just too much of it.

@dragonaf,
Welcome to a2k, dragonaf.

Yesterday -
scrambled eggs with some chorizo mixed in, piece of toast with butter
two coffees, 1 tsp sugar

made some meatloaf - ground beef, adobo sauce, two eggs, chopped red onion, bread crumbs, a cut up tomato, squirt of red wine.
Ate some of that, hot out of the oven. Mmmmm.

Thawed frozen peas with olive oil and vinegar, s & p , also leftover cooked green beans, same dressing.

Almond butter cookie
Gala apple
2 glasses red wine
lemon water
