500 Days of Summer was better than expected - interesting leaps forward and back thru their relationship, and the plotline wasn't what I expected. I saw Taking Woodstock yesterday and I also recommend it. It's not about the music or the concert - it's about the people.

L: chef salad w/balsamic vinaigrette
S: clementine

They had an ice cream sundae party at work and you just had a banana?
That's some serious willpower!

Yeah, the caramel sauce was calling my name.

It helps that there are all of these people watching who know I've lost 126 pounds. Some are happy for me and some are just waiting for me to go for the ice cream. Both groups help me stay strong. If I were alone with the caramel sauce, it'd be a lot tougher!

Good point!

I'm really serious about getting to my goal weight which is 160. I joined Weight Watchers in May 2004. The last two years I've lost (mostly) but very slowly. I'm so close! Anyway, this renewed motivation really helped yesterday too.

I've been go to the realm of computer tharn (they ordered a new hard drive, it'll be a few more days, aaagggh.)
Weight has stayed under 150, 147 yesterday. Talk about slow loss, I started a couple of years ago at 154. My brain is losing cells while I use dys' computer once every few days.

Yesterday -
homemade buckwheat pan bigio toast with a smidge of brie and some garlic and olives
two coffees with 1.5 tsp sugar total

1 bbq briskit sandwich at the Model Cafe, iced tea

pizza, a couple of slices - mozzarella, marinated vidalia onion slices, garlic and olives, one precooked chicken and green and red pepper saueage, sliced

1 -whisky and a lot of ice
1/3 of a mild chocolate and hazelnut candy bar

Gerolsteiner, two glasses

Which reminds me, I have two new favorite cold veggie dishes - and this is going to sound strange -
- frozen baby peas with a little olive oil and salt and pepper
- thin sliced vidalia onion in some olive oil, some red wine vinegar, salt and pepper, refrigerated until nice and chilled
